The American people are still waiting for the results of the Presidential election.
But one thing is for certain, the vaunted “blue wave” that was supposed to sweep the nation for Joe Biden and the Democrats never developed.
And Tucker Carlson just dropped a truth bomb on the media over their 2020 election coverage.
Despite the irregularities Americans are witnessing in key swing states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan, one thing was abundantly clear on election night.
The Fake News Media’s polls were dead wrong.
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson was the first major pundit to call the media out for it.
Carlson told his viewers the Fake News Media had relied on polls that were obviously wrong, pointing to The New York Times claiming Donald Trump only had a 30 percent chance to win Florida, which the President ended up carrying by several hundred thousand votes.
“I do know as a factual matter, that the claim — and I think I’m quoting now — ‘our pre-election polls were really, really good,’ is just not true,” Carlson added.
“And if that were true, then The New York Times wouldn’t have given Joe Biden a 70% chance this morning of winning Florida.”
RealClearPolitics’ Tom Bevan provided the data to back up Carlson’s point.
NYT/Siena, rated an A+ pollster by 538, overestimated Biden's support by:
6+ in FL
4+ in NC
Probably 6ish in MI when the count is in
10 ish in WI
10+ in IA
9+ in OHGreat job.

Carlson noted some pollsters – like the Trafalgar Group – correctly predicted toss-up races because they polled for “social desirability” – which means asking people who they thought their friends would vote – as opposed to pure voter intention.
“Some polls were good. A lot were bad. And I know that the impulse, always, for everyone — me, you, I mean everybody — is self-justification, et cetera, but I mean we should be honest about — and I’m not specifically talking about Fox News, but the media more broadly — we should be honest about the times that we were wrong.”
Instead, most of the Fake News Media are actually spending time trying to justify their outlandish predictions.
And destroying any last shred of credibility they were clinging too.
