Tucker Carlson set off a firestorm in Washington, D.C. by making good on his promise to reveal never before seen footage from January 6.
Some Democrats have called for him to be taken off the air and others want him locked up in jail.
But Tucker Carlson was stunned by Elon Musk’s jaw-dropping response to him showing video footage from January 6.
Tucker Carlson showed unedited footage and destroyed the narrative put forward for the past two years by Democrats and the media about how Trump and his supporters allegedly attempted to overthrow the government on January 6.
“Once you see the video, you will understand why. Taken as a whole, the video record does not support the claim that January 6th was an insurrection,” Carlson told viewers. “In fact, it demolishes that claim.”
Since the Left is using January 6 as a political tool, Carlson said Democrats and members of the press tried to block him from releasing the footage from the Capitol.
“That is exactly why the Democratic Party and its allies in the media prevented you from seeing it,” Carlson continued. “By controlling the images you are allowed to view from January 6th, they control how the public understood that day.”
Carlson then said the footage showed most of the Trump supporters who entered the Capitol were peaceful and did not look anything close to violent extremists trying to overthrow the government and end democracy.
Instead, he said they looked like sightseers in awe of their surroundings.
“The overwhelming majority weren’t [violent],” Carlson added. “They were peaceful. They were orderly and meek. These were not insurrectionists. They were sightseers. Footage from inside the Capitol overturns the story you’ve heard about Jan. 6. Protesters queue up a neat little lines. They give each other tours outside the speaker’s office. They take cheerful selfies and they smile. They’re not destroying Capitol. They obviously revere the Capitol. They’re there because they believe the election was stolen from them. They believe in the system.”
Elon Musk responded to Carlson’s footage on Twitter and ripped members of the January 6 Committee for showing selectively-edited footage in the hearings that only served their phony narrative.
Musk pointed out that this interfered with the ability of those charged with crimes to defend themselves in court.
Besides misleading the public, they withheld evidence for partisan political reasons that sent people to prison for far more serious crimes than they committed.

But Tucker Carlson changed that by showing the footage Democrats tried to keep hidden.
