The Biden administration is threatening Russia, which is leading to fears of World War III breaking out over rumors that Russia will invade Ukraine.

During a recent interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Kamala Harris threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin if he followed through with his long-rumored invasion of Ukraine.
“If Russia and Vladimir Putin violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, there’s going to be serious consequences, and we’re very clear about that,” Harris told the Journal Sentinel.
Of course, Harris’ threat came just one day after The New York Times reported that the Biden administration placed 8,500 troops on high alert status.
High alert status means Biden could deploy these troops to Eastern Europe if Putin orders the 100,000 troops he has mobilized on the Ukrainian border to invade.
Biden placing troops on high alert status combined with Harris’ ultimatum revealed one thing about the current administration’s attitude towards Russia and Putin.
It revealed that Joe Biden has no leverage over Putin in this scenario with Ukraine.
Putin knows it, which is why negotiations with Russia went nowhere, forcing the Biden administration to order another humiliating evacuation of American citizens and embassy personnel’s family out of Ukraine.
The sanctions put in place by Donald Trump on the Nord Stream-2 pipeline, which Russia uses to pump natural gas into Europe, were lifted by the Biden administration.
After that concession, Putin ramped up his time table for an invasion of Ukraine.
Most Americans do not want a war with Russia.
However, Biden and Harris are issuing empty threats that will not stop Putin from invading Ukraine.
If Russia does invade, this will put America in a position of having to defend its reputation as a global superpower.
Not only that, but many fear if Putin invades Ukraine that Biden will order disastrous troop deployments in order to prevent the Communist Chinese from thinking they can seize Taiwan.
This could end up placing American troops in the line of fire with one mistake being all it takes to start a shooting war between two nuclear armed powers.
