Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) became yet another left-wing darling of the legacy media by leading many of the Left’s witch hunts against Donald Trump.
But in doing so he may have simply set himself up for a major downfall.
Recently, House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) followed through on his promise to follow the standard set by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to boot Schiff from the House Intelligence Committee for repeatedly using his position as the former Chair of the Committee to push verifiably false narratives surrounding former President Donald Trump.
That truly put Schiff on the back foot for one of the first times, as even legacy media outlets, like CNN, have grilled him over his clear abuse of his former position on the Intel Committee.
But never one to let a good crisis go to waste, Rep. Schiff is now looking to use this ordeal as a springboard to bigger and better things.
In a stunning move, Schiff recently announced that he will be leaving the U.S. House in order to make a run for Democrat U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein’s seat in the upper chamber.
In a video announcing his Senate campaign, the embattled Congressman claimed he’s running because “our democracy is at great risk” supposedly thanks to power-hungry Republicans.
“Our democracy is at great risk,” Schiff claimed. “Because GOP leaders care more about power than anything else. And because our economy isn’t working for millions of hard-working Americans. We’re in the fight of our lives — a fight I’m ready to lead as California’s next U.S. Senator.”

Of course, Senator Feinstein hasn’t exactly stepped down or announced her retirement just yet, and with radical left-wing Congresswoman Katie Porter (D-CA) also jumping into the race prior to Schiff, many have questioned whether Democrats are in store for a mess of a primary battle.
At this point, the 89-year-old Democrat has spent over 30 years in the U.S. Senate, and has held elected office for more than half a century.
But with her advanced age, many ego maniacs within her Party, like Schiff, are dying for her to “move on,” leading to many rumors and much innuendo surrounding Feinstein’s supposed cognitive decline and overall fitness for office.
For her part, it seems Rep. Porter is determined to run to the extreme Left of every other left-wing radical in the race, as evidenced by a recent Congressional hearing in which she attempted to defend censoring social media posts which she said “identified LGBTQ people as so-called ‘groomers ’” and claimed that the posts labeled them as “pedophiles” and “criminals” for what she said is simply their sexual orientation. “This allegation of ‘groomer’ and of ‘pedophile,’ it is alleging that a person is criminal somehow, and engaged in criminal acts, merely because of their identity, their sexual orientation,” Porter stated.
And much like Schiff, the California Congresswoman’s campaign got off to a rocky start – and that was even before the pedophile claims.
Despite the fact that the legacy media refuses to even acknowledge the scandal’s existence, Congresswoman Porter has faced multiple allegations of workplace abuse and the use of “racist rhetoric” by multiple former staff members.
Fox News reported that one ex-staffer “alleged that the Congresswoman made rude and racist comments to staff and said that she ‘ridiculed people for reporting sexual harassment.’”
On top of that, this past December, reports also indicated that Porter had allegedly retaliated against a staff member – a wounded veteran, no less – for supposedly “giving her COVID,” something Porter’s office denies, telling the DailyMail that the staffer was on a two-year fellowship that was coming to an end within weeks.
Needless to say, the Democrat U.S. Senate Primary in California is shaping up to be a hoot and a half for everyone who’s not a brainwashed Democrat.
With an 89-year-old Senator that most Democrats want to step down and a pedophile-defending left-wing extremist as his top competition, Rep. Schiff shouldn’t have any problems making the leap to the Senate.
But the fact that his first week of campaigning has been spent being grilled for spreading falsehoods, and getting attacked from the Right and Left, he’s likely in store for quite the battle.
