Watch: Kristi Noem just shut down a leftist interrogaters’ lies with one brutal reality check

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem shut down a Democrat Congresswoman's claims about family separations at the border with one brutal truth the Left won’t want Americans to hear.

Kristi Noem isn’t putting up with false narratives about the Trump administration.

The Secretary of Homeland Security quickly set the record straight in her hearing this week on Capitol Hill.

And Kristi Noem just shut down a leftist interrogaters’ lies with one brutal reality check.

Border security showdown

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem testified Tuesday before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, where Democrats tried desperately to push their open-border agenda.

During the intense questioning session, Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) attempted to paint the Trump administration as heartless for “separating families” at the southern border.

The Texas Democrat claimed American citizen children were being deported, including “one of those children with cancer who was deported without the medication necessary to address that child’s cancer.”

But Secretary Noem wasn’t about to let that misleading narrative stand unchallenged.

When Escobar asked about specific ICE forms for parents with children, Noem delivered a fact check that completely dismantled the Democrat’s carefully crafted talking point.

“When the specific cases that you’re referencing with these children, it was the parents’ choice to take their children,” Noem fired back without hesitation.

She added firmly, “And did I follow through on the policy? Which is the policy of the Trump administration to keep families together.”

Democrat tries to silence the truth

Clearly rattled by having her narrative exposed, Rep. Escobar quickly interrupted, saying, “Ma’am, reclaiming my time. I told you at the top of this, ma’am, reclaiming my time.”

The Democrat desperately tried to cut off Secretary Noem’s response and redirect to her prepared questions about paperwork.

“I said that the questions are really simple, yes or no. Was that form used in any of those cases?” Escobar pressed, trying to recover.

Secretary Noem responded that she would “get back to you on that specific form” but maintained that “these mothers went on the record filling out paperwork,” further undermining Escobar’s implications of procedural misconduct.

The real border crisis Democrats won’t talk about

Perhaps the most telling part of the exchange was what Rep. Escobar deliberately avoided discussing.

The Texas Democrat spent none of her questioning time addressing the staggering 320,000+ children who went missing under the Biden-Harris administration’s watch.

This shocking number reveals the true humanitarian disaster that occurred during the four years of Democrat border policies, yet Escobar carefully steered clear of this devastating statistic.

Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s leadership, the Department of Homeland Security has been working to clean up the border chaos left behind by the previous administration while ensuring that families are kept together whenever possible.

The Trump administration has also taken decisive steps to reinstate successful border policies like “Remain in Mexico” and restarted construction of the border wall to protect American communities.

Noem continues to deliver results

Since taking over as Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem has been a forceful advocate for securing America’s borders. Her no-nonsense approach and willingness to confront political grandstanding has made her one of the most effective members of President Trump’s cabinet.

As a former governor who dealt firsthand with the consequences of the Biden-Harris border crisis, Noem brings real-world experience to her role at DHS. Her exchange with Rep. Escobar demonstrates exactly why President Trump selected her to lead this critical department.

While Democrats continue trying to push debunked narratives about the Trump administration’s border policies, Secretary Noem remains focused on protecting American communities and ensuring our immigration system works as intended.
