Pete Buttigieg has been a failure in his role as Transportation Secretary.
His name frequently appears in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons.
And now his life turned into a nightmare over the revelation that his ‘buddy’ was rung up on child porn charges and now the White House has been ensnared.
Patrick Lewis Wojahn, the 47-year old Mayor of College Park, Maryland was recently arrested and charged on 40 counts of possession of child pornography and 16 counts of possessing child sex images, is said to have been a frequent White House visitor.
Wojahn resigned in disgrace.
“While this investigation does not involve any official city business of any kind, it is in the best interests of our community that I step aside and not serve as a distraction,” Wojahn’s resignation statement read.
“Many of you have already reached out with well wishes and thoughts, and I am eternally grateful. I am stepping away to deal with my own mental health,” Wojahn added that “I ask that you continue to keep me and my family in your prayers.”
When he first ran for office in 2014, Pete Buttigieg advised Wojahn on how to run for office as a homosexual and went on to become his mentor.
The Washington Blade reports:
“I actually met Mayor Pete Buttigieg shortly after I was elected mayor in 2015,” Wojahn said. “I went to the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in D.C. in January and he was assigned to be my buddy.”
The two continued to talk over the phone and Buttigieg explained the conference to him and what would take place at the meeting.
Later, they would both attend a White House reception during the Obama administration where Dave and Chasten (Buttigieg) would meet as well.
Buttigieg continued to mentor Wojahn, advising him on how to get the most out of his participation in the conference.
The Transportation Secretary has been under fire for ignoring the tragedy in East Palestine, Ohio where a train derailed and spilled toxic chemicals into the air and water.
Before the East Palestine incident, Buttigieg was under fire for disappearing during the midst of a supply chain crisis that threatened to wreck the economy.
Buttigieg was tapped by Joe Biden for the role as Transportation Secretary and accepted, likely in hopes of using it to transition to a Presidential bid after Joe Biden’s time was up for Democrats.
Now those moves are becoming an even bigger catastrophe for both Biden and Buttigieg after revelations that White House visitor logs show that Wojahn has been a frequent White House visitor during the Biden administration, according to Fox News.
Wojahn visited the White House around six times since President Biden appointed Buttigeig Department of Transportation Secretary.
