Pete Buttigieg is one of the dumbest of the lot in the Democrat Party so it’s no surprise he’s been a virtual ghost on the campaign trail.
But the failed 2020 Presidential candidate finally got called into the game for the last days before the Democrats’ looming Midterm elections disaster.
Because Gisele Fetterman – who is rumored to be the backup plan for John Fetterman if he actually wins – has taken a page from Pete Buttigeig.
It’s no secret the Left loves to play the race card.
It might be shorter for Democrats to name the people and things in life that they don’t believe are racist, rather than the ones that are.
Biden administration Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigeig really raised the bar for willingness to make insane claims about anything imaginable being racist, when he made a commitment to fight back against the United States’ “systemically racist” road system.
Now Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman’s wife Gisele has raised the bar again.
Because Gisele Fetterman believes swimming is racist.
In an interview with iGen Politics podcast, Gisele was trying to make it seem like she has some actual experience that would make her qualified for a position like U.S. Senator.
She said it was her idea to open the poll at the lieutenant governor’s mansion in Pennsylvania to the public.
“While we did not want the mansion, that mansion came with a pool I wanted,” Gisele Fetterman said. “And the dream was to make this a public pool and turn it into the people’s pool and ensure that young people across Pennsylvania could learn how to swim and water safety and kind of work to right some of the wrongs. Historically, swimming in America is very racist, and usually when you look at drowning statistics, it usually affects children of color because of lack of access.”

If John Fetterman is somehow declared the winner, Gisele’s stance on swimming might be important.
The results in the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania will be among the most closely watched in the nation.
Not just because it’s an open seat with the retirement of RINO Sen. Pat Toomey or because it’s one of the most hotly-contested races in the country.
And not even just because there’s a celebrity, with television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz in the race.
Much of the intrigue is based on a question surrounding the health of Democrat candidate and current Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman after he suffered a massive stroke back in May, just ahead of the primary.
Fetterman still won, becoming the blue team’s nominee for the open Senate seat.
Instead of bowing out of the contest and handing the nomination over to his runner-up in the primary, Democrat Rep. Conor Lamb – the hoodie-wearing radical decided to stay in the race.
For months, there was no sight or sound from Fetterman.
His campaign relied mostly on television ads – some even featuring celebrities like reality TV star Snooki.
The ads hammered Oz for being a television doctor and for being a carpetbagger from out of state.
The strategy was largely working.
Oz was bloodied in a competitive GOP primary and didn’t have a lot of money to counter the barrage of negative ads against him.
Fetterman jumped out to a large lead and it looked like the Democrats were likely to flip the seat blue – which would go a long way in helping Chuck Schumer keep his position as Senate Majority Leader.
However, over time, questions began to pop up about Fetterman’s absence from the campaign trail.
He had not been seen in months since his stroke, and the argument was raised that voters had the right to know if he was healthy enough for the job.
At the same time, Oz had finally refilled his campaign warchest and began hitting Fetterman on things like his soft-on-crime record, including letting rapists and murders back on the streets.
Rumors on the beltway are swirling that a vote for John Fetterman was really a vote for his wife, Gisele Barreto Fetterman and those rumors were starting to make their way to voters.
A Rolling Stone reporter even called her the “de facto candidate” in the race.
And President Joe Biden said Gisele is going to be a “great, great lady in the Senate.”
The Fetterman camp decided to take a gamble and put their announced candidate out there.
John Fetterman held a press conference – it didn’t go well.
He then did an interview with a local news station – it didn’t go well.
And, with the aid of a closed caption system, he entered a debate against Dr. Oz – it was a disaster.
Fetterman seemed confused and had difficulty forming coherent sentences.
His debate performance has reraised the question – what happens if he wins?
Will he be sworn in, only to immediately vacate the seat and have his wife step in to fill it?
