William Barr’s been nothing but one disappointment after another for Trump supporters during his entire time as Attorney General.
From doing nothing to stop the coup plotters behind the Russian hoax to refusing to investigate the evidence of widespread voter fraud committed by Democrats on November 3, Trump supporters haven’t been happy with virtually any move he’s made.
But William Barr’s next move could make Trump supporters cheer with glee.
Right now, Trump supporters are infuriated with William Barr after he told a reporter from the Associated Press last week that he hasn’t seen any evidence of voter fraud that “could have affected a different outcome in the election.”
And it wasn’t just Trump supporters who were outraged with Barr over his comments.
President Trump also took him to task during a press conference, saying William Barr “hasn’t done anything yet” to investigate the evidence of voter fraud.
But William Barr may be about to make a decision that will likely gain the approval of most Trump supporters.
According to the Washington Post, William Barr may be about to call it quits on Donald Trump.
“Barr, in his second stint as the nation’s top law enforcement official, since the fall has been the target of growing criticism from President Trump and his supporters – public attacks that intensified in recent days after the attorney general said the Justice Department had not found evidence of widespread voter fraud that could affect the outcome of the presidential contest. But people close to the attorney general, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations, said Barr’s contemplation of resigning before Jan. 20 predates that fresh burst of criticism from the right,” the Post reported.
As Political Animal News recently reported, President Trump is considering firing William Barr before he has the opportunity to resign.
But if Barr does resign before President Trump fires him, it’ll likely be one decision that Trump supporters can get behind.
