Yellowstone is one of the biggest hit television shows in recent memory.

But many fans are in a state of mourning as the original series will be coming to an end this year.

However, Taylor Sheridan hopes to make it up to the Yellowstone faithful by giving them the gift they’ve been waiting for just in time for the Holiday season.

Hollywood’s biggest hitmaker draws inspiration from red America

Yellowstone hit the “phenomenon” level partly by focusing on a hard-working, middle-American family.

Some even dubbed it “red state Game of Thrones.”

However, backstage politicking led to an end of the series far sooner than fans had hoped.

In fact, season five was split in half, and fanatics have been waiting for what feels like forever to watch the conclusion unfold.

And the wait is far from over, with November 10 on the Paramount Network set as the launch of the final run of episodes.

Fortunately, Yellowstone isn’t the only show up Taylor Sheridan’s sleeve.

In fact, he’s become something of a hitmaker in Hollywood.

There is a seemingly endless supply of Yellowstone spinoffs.

Season three of Jeremy Renner’s Mayor of Kingstown is currently airing on Paramount Plus.

The second season of Tulsa King, starring Sylvester Stallone, debuts this September.

And Sheridan is teaming up with Billy Bob Thorton for a brand-new western drama – and Paramount has finally announced when it will air.

Paramount Plus announces Landman launch date

For Sheridan’s next show, he’s moving his focus from a ranch in the Big Sky State to an oilfield in the Lone Star State.

Landman will be set in modern-day West Texas.

“Story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics,” the show’s description reads.

The line about “reshaping our climate” sends off some alarm bells, however, Sheridan’s work can typically be trusted to avoid never-ending woke propaganda.

But fans will be able to judge for themselves soon.

Paramount Plus released a November 17 launch date of the show to reporters.

They added that the debut date will consist of the first two episodes of the series.

And that date means Landman will begin right after season two of Tulsa King wraps up.

Additionally, that means Landman will hit the streaming platform just one week after the final part of the final season of Yellowstone.

Between election day on November 5, Yellowstone starting on November 10, and Landman streaming on November 17, Americans will be quite busy heading into Thanksgiving on November 28.

Landman features an all-star cast

Billy Bob Thorton will star as Landman’s main character.

And Sheridan inked his 80s and 90s heartthrob Demi Moore, who has officially been added to the Landman cast.

Along with Thorton and Moore, Sheridan’s new show will feature Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, Godfather III’s Andy Garcia, Antman’s Michael Peña and Varsity Blues’ Ali Larter.

James Jones, who had roles in both Yellowstone and Mayor of Kingstown, is also on the Landman cast.

The series is based on an 11-part podcast called Boomtown, and season one is scheduled to include 10 episodes.
