Joe Biden made a career out of taking care of his cronies.
Now that he’s in the White House, he can trade away more favors.
And you won’t believe the handout he gave to Big Labor.
Joe Biden’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic has been a disaster.
He ran on shutting down the virus and reopening the country.
He expected to a take a victory lap taking credit for President Trump’s work.
Now the virus has different plans as the pandemic rages on.
In an effort to combat COVID, Biden recently announced an executive order for a vaccine mandate on all companies with over 100 people via the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OHSA).
A curious group was left exempt from this order, the United States Post Office.
With 600,000 employees the Post Office is the most public-facing branch of the federal government.
By exempting them Biden repaid a favor to the powerful American Postal Workers Union.
The union had opposed vaccine mandates for postal workers since July.
The postal workers union endorsed Joe Biden for president and spent millions boosting Democrats up and down the ballot.
The union is a longtime ally of Democrats.
Exempting the public facing postal workers from the mandate is clearly a political and not public health decision.
This is yet another example of how Biden has politicized the pandemic and done favors for his Big Labor allies.
Earlier it was revealed that teachers’ unions were pressuring the CDC on guidance for masking in schools.
The teachers unions along with other unions were showered in cash in Biden’s American Rescue Plan bill.
With other powerful government employee unions opposed to vaccine mandates this likely won’t be the last favor Biden does for Big Labor.
After narrowly winning election he’s in the pocket of the unions who went all out spending billions to ensure his victory.
