Polls show that the overwhelming majority of Republican voters want Donald Trump to run for President in 2024.
Many are speculating that Trump could announce a 2024 Presidential campaign in the near future.
But you won’t believe the news about Melania that could prevent Donald Trump from running for President again.
Melania Trump and Michelle Obama served very differently from each other when they were the First Lady.
Obama was much more of a publicity hound and celebrity worshipper while Trump kept her profile low and dignified.
Refreshingly, Melania Trump chose not to exploit her status to cozy up to stars and make a name for herself off of her husband’s office.
Melania Trump back in the White House would be welcome return.
But now, news broke about Melania that could stop Donald Trump from running for President again.
According to CNN’s Kate Bennett, if Trump runs for re-election again in 2024, Melania Trump will not help him with his campaign because she does not want to go back to Washington, D.C. and serve as First Lady again.
“I’ve spoken to people who’ve said that she’s not even really interested in being in the White House again, going through being First Lady again,” Bennett stated. “She really has no interest in helping her husband with…his next-step political ambitions.”
Of course, CNN has a history of lying about Donald Trump and his family, so anything they report should be taken with that in mind.
However, given the fact that Melania rarely did public events and only spoke at the Republican National Convention in 2016 and 2020, it’s no secret that she doesn’t enjoy campaigning very much.
But Bennett still ripped Melania for not staying politically active after leaving the White House.
“Many of [the former first ladies] are inspired by the work they do at the White House,” Bennett added. “It’s been about 7 months since she left the White House. She established an office, but there has not been a public event. There has not been an initiative, a platform, any of the things we commonly see [from first ladies].”
Compared to Michelle Obama, many Americans viewed Melania Trump’s approach to serving as First Lady as a welcome change.
However, if CNN is correct, is it possible for Donald Trump to run again in 2024 without the support of his wife?
