Hunter Biden has a history of shady business dealings with foreign governments.
Despite having no experience in the energy industry, Hunter Biden was once paid $50,000 a month to sit on the board of the corrupt Ukranian energy company Burisma.
But you won’t believe what Barack Obama’s ethics lawyer said about one shady proposed $500,000 payment to Hunter Biden.
Hunter Biden and his shady business dealings are back in the news.
But this time it’s for his artwork.
Apparently, Hunter Biden is one of the most talented painters in the entire world, as an art show is preparing to sell his paintings for anywhere from $75,000 to $500,000 per piece.
Not only that, but the White House is trying to claim Hunter is not once again using his last name to peddle influence because the buyers would remain anonymous to Hunter Biden.
It’s the exact opposite of transparency and the White House wants everyone to believe that it isn’t shady.
Richard Painter, the chief ethics lawyer for the Bush Administration from 2005 to 2007, blasted the fact that Hunter’s buyers would remain anonymous, telling The Washington Post the whole deal stunk to high heaven.
“The whole thing is a really bad idea,” Painter admonished. “The initial reaction a lot of people are going to have is that he’s capitalizing on being the son of a president and wants people to give him a lot of money. I mean, those are awfully high prices.”
But even folks in Joe Biden’s own Party are concerned about the apparent corruption threat posed by those paying Hunter Biden’s art show prices.
Barack Obama’s ethics lawyer, Walter Shaub, ripped the deal as well, stating, “Because we don’t know who is paying for this art and we don’t know for sure that [Hunter Biden] knows, we have no way of monitoring whether people are buying access to the White House,” Shaub also told The Post. “What these people are paying for is Hunter Biden’s last name.”
Of course, Hunter Biden’s history of shady business dealings should be reason for concern for any fair-minded person.
The inflated price of his paintings look like nothing more than another opportunity for shady actors – both foreign and domestic – to use Hunter Biden’s need for money to buy access to the White House.
