Fox News flew into chaos when Jesse Watters made this announcement

Jesse Watters made one critique of Kamala Harris’ last-ditch Hail Mary strategy that had all hell breaking loose.

With Donald Trump heading back to the White House, Democrats are melting down as predicted.

They just can’t seem to figure out what went so wrong for them.

But Fox News flew into chaos when Jesse Watters made this announcement.

Democrats lost the plot

There were plenty of signs and red flags throughout the 2024 election cycle that seemingly went completely ignored by Democrats.

While most Americans sensed the inevitability of President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding victory, Democrats continue to seemingly live in an alternate reality, completely cut off from the real world.

That was proven beyond any doubt when Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign rolled out her last-ditch Hail Mary strategy in the closing days of the race, just as early voting numbers began to point to a big night for the Trump-Vance campaign.

As you may have seen, the pro-Kamala group Vote for the Common Good decided that the best closing strategy was to run a commercial that encouraged women to lie to their husbands and vote for Kamala because their ballots were secret and they’d never find out.

Needless to say, at a time in which the vast majority of Americans – including a significant percentage of women – felt that the country was on the wrong track with the biggest issues being the economy and immigration, the ad couldn’t have possibly been more tone deaf.

And it was a clear sign that Team Kamala had greatly misjudged voter sentiment, and would soon suffer the crushing defeat they did on Election Night.

But while the commercial drew the ire of many Americans, including some Democrats, it was Fox News’ Jesse Watters’ criticism of the strategy that is truly making waves.

While discussing the commercial on Fox News’ The Five, Watters absolutely eviscerated the idea that women should lie to their husbands about their voting preference, suggesting that he’d consider it the same as infidelity.

“If I found out Emma was going to the voting booth and pulling the lever for Harris, that’s the same thing as having an affair,” Watters declared.

“That would be D-Day!”

Watters’ co-host, Harold Ford Jr., instantly responded to his suggestion with condemnation, nearly sending the entire set into chaos.

“Oh, my God,” Ford exclaimed.

“Let him finish,” former WWE pro wrestler Tyrus stated.

The Fox News host went on to explain that if he found out his wife was lying about her voting preference, it would cause him to question whether or not she’s been truthful about other matters.

“That violates the sanctity of our marriage. What else is she keeping from me? What is she lying about?” Watters responded.

“Why would she lie to you?” Judge Jeanine Pirro wondered.

“Why would she do that and vote Harris? Why would she say she was voting – if I caught her and she said ‘I lied to you for the last four years,’” Watters answered.

Perino started to respond to Watters by saying, “So, you’d admit you’d intimidate…” but he quickly cut her off to cut right to the point.

“It’s over, Emma!” Watters sarcastically declared. “That would be D-Day!”

“This segment is over!” Perino added.

Clearly, Watters was mocking the commercial with his response as a way of illustrating just how unhealthy and outright deranged the entire scenario actually is.

And the fact that Democrats were focused on pushing such messages in the closing days of the race is just another reason Donald Trump emerged victorious.
