Pete Buttigieg indicted on “Fox & Friends” for telling this big lie

A "Fox & Friends" star destroyed Joe Biden’s secretary of transportation for committing this awful offense.

Pete Buttigieg likes to think that he’s the smartest person in the room.

But he can’t handle receiving any pushback.

And Pete Buttigieg got indicted on Fox & Friends for telling this big lie.

Pete Buttigieg promotes electric vehicles on Fox News

Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has become one of the top emissaries that the Biden-Harris administration dispatches to Fox News.

One of the biggest concerns for Democrats has become the blowback for trying to force everyone into electric vehicles.

Demand for electric vehicles has collapsed because most Americans don’t want these expensive, impractical Kamalamobiles.

Buttigieg was sent to try to fool Fox News viewers that the Biden-Harris administration’s electric vehicle mandates aren’t real.

Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade sparred with the Transportation Secretary over the mandates.

“Mr. Mayor, Michigan matters a lot. That’s why you’re there, right? How much did the EV mandate hurt Kamala Harris’ quest to be the next President?” Kilmeade asked.

“First of all, the statement that there is an EV mandate is a lie,” Buttigieg whined. “You can buy a gas car right now if you want one. You can buy an EV if you want one, and we’ll help make it cheaper.”

A surprised Kilmeade asked how long Americans could buy a gas car.

“For as long as you want,” Buttigieg claimed.

“Now, our goal with the tax supports and by the way, you admit that right? That you can buy a gas car if you want right now, which means by definition there’s no mandate,” Buttigieg stated.

Kilmeade pointed out that the electric vehicle mandate is coming in the 2030s.

Buttigieg was backed into a corner and tried to deflect.

“Now the goal and I’ve got to be careful with it because I can’t get into the administration side,” Buttigieg said. “But what I’ll say is the goal has been to be about half and a half by the end of the decade.”

He complained later in the interview that it was turning into a debate because Kilmeade was calling him out on his deception.

The truth about the Biden-Harris electric vehicle mandates

The Biden-Harris administration knew that an electric vehicle mandate would never pass Congress.

So they used government regulations to create a de facto electric vehicle mandate.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a new regulation on tailpipe emissions that will require automakers to have at least two-thirds of the new vehicles they sell by 2032 be electric.

The average fuel economy for an automaker’s vehicle lineup under the corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards was increased by the bureaucrats at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Automakers would have to sell more electric vehicles to meet the fuel economy standards or face heavy fines.

President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to abolish Biden’s electric vehicle mandates once he takes office in January.

That will leave blue states leading the charge to outlaw the sale of gas cars.

California announced that the sale of new gas cars in the state will be banned in 2035.

A battle is underway for the right of Americans to drive the vehicle of their choosing.
