With each passing day, Americans get closer to waking up from the national nightmare.
January 20 will mark the end of President Joe Biden’s four-year reign.
But on his way out, President Biden just slapped these victims’ families in the face with this ultimate insult – and it was caught on camera.
Trump and Biden have very different reactions to New Orleans terrorist attacks
The country is still mourning the lives taken during a New Year’s Day jihadist attack in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Of course, no one is mourning more so than the families of the murder victims.
Early in the morning of New Year’s Day, a terrorist attacked on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
The FBI reportedly suspects 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar of driving the pick-up truck that killed 15 innocent people and injured at least 30 others who had just celebrated the ball drop a mere 3 hours and 15 minutes earlier.
The incoming administration was quick to show their support and compassion.
“Heartbreaking violence last night in New Orleans,” Vice President-elect J.D. Vance tweeted as soon as he learned of the tragedy. “Such a beautiful and great American city. May God bless the victims and their families.”

“Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department,” President-elect Donald Trump posted to Truth Social. “The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!”
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden had other priorities.
During his next-day press conference, the out-going President joked that he had to hurry up and “get this damn thing started” so he could watch the Sugar Bowl.

And that same dismissive attitude from President Biden towards the terror attack was on full display at an even more inopportune time.
Joe Biden sleeps through victims’ prayer service
The President and First Lady Jill Biden waited nearly a full week after the tragedy before going to the Big Easy.
On January 6 – the same day Trump was certified as the next President of the United States – Biden and his wife received a tour of Bourbon Street, where the fatal jihadist attack occurred.
NTD News Television is reporting, “The first lady laid flowers at a shrine for the victims. The couple stood in silence with their heads bowed. The president crossed himself before they headed back to the motorcade for the short drive to St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter.”

While at the Cathedral-Basilica, the Bidens participated in an interfaith prayer service held by the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Well, sort of.
In the above video, you can see how Mr. Biden spent his time during the prayer service for victims of the New Orleans terrorist attack.
The cameraman even gets nice and tight for a close-up of the President sleeping during the memorial.
The video is just shy of two-and-half-minutes long.
Biden – with his eyes closed the entire time – doesn’t move a muscle until about the 1:40 mark of the clip.
At that point, Biden slowly reaches up to scratch his face near his ear.
He then takes a big deep breath before nodding back off.
One X user wasn’t at all surprised to see Biden asleep at the wheel – especially at such an inappropriate time.
“He slept thru his entire presidency,” the account tweeted.
