Socialist Congresswoman Ilhan Omar declared war with the new Trump administration even before he was sworn in.
But it is a war that isn’t going to end well at all for Omar.
Because Ilhan Omar tried to pick one fight with Donald Trump but it blew up in her face for one big reason.

Some Democrats – like Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman – are at least pretending like they learned something from the results of the November elections.
This is especially true on the issue of open borders and stopping illegal aliens from entering the country.
But Ilhan Omar is not one of those Democrats.
Omar has made it clear she is still all in favor of allowing millions of illegal aliens to remain embedded in America.
To further that goal, Omar introduced the “Neighbors Not Enemies Act” in response to Donald Trump announcing he would utilize the powers granted to him under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 – which allows the President to deport non-citizens of countries the United States is at war with – to remove illegal alien gang members from America.

“Today I introduced my Neighbors Not Enemies Act to repeal the outdated and dangerous Alien Enemies Act of 1798. Donald Trump is preparing to dust off this archaic law for his plan for mass deportation. It’s way past time to repeal this xenophobic law once and for all,” Omar wrote on social media of her law.
Omar also attacked Trump White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller for wanting to make use of every tool at the President’s disposal to carry out mass deportations.
“Stephen Miller and Donald Trump are preparing to dust off the law for their plan for mass deportation. This will be another moral stain on our country,” Omar ranted.
On inauguration day, Trump declared that he would invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to “use the full and immense power of federal and state law enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign gangs and criminal networks.”
Omar responded by playing the race card to distort Trump’s planned use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
“The context in which Trump and Miller are raising the Alien Enemy Act is in what they say are their plans to target cartels and transnational criminal gangs,” Omar added. “But it is not what the Alien Enemies Act does, the Alien Enemies Act targets people based on their nationality, not based on their behavior.”
Of course, Donald Trump would more than welcome a fight where Democrats follow Omar’s lead and try to stop him from mass deporting illegal alien gang members.
Trump administration’s already underway immigration enforcement policies are popularÂ
A New York Times poll showed 55 percent of Americans support deporting all 25-30 million illegal aliens from America.
It’s safe to say an even higher number would support deporting illegal alien gang members had the Times polled that question.
Ilhan Omar is leading the Democrat Party into a box canyon.
That’s because right now the Democrat Party has no real leader and it’s easy for Trump to elevate Omar and her fellow leftist radicals to be the face of the opposition.
And Republicans will feel very comfortable about the 2026 midterm elections if this is the hill Omar and the Democrats choose to die on.
