These fans decided to boo the National Anthem and what happened next shocked everyone

There may be one sure way to know a Trump plan will work, and these foreign fans just showed it.

Americans thought national anthem protests were a thing of the not-so-distant past.

Now, the protests and booing of our National Anthem have come back in an ugly way.

And these fans decided to boo the National Anthem and what happened next shocked everyone.

Canadians continue to boo the national anthem

Fans at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, booed the singing of the United States’ National Anthem at World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) Elimination Chamber premium live event.

Pat McAfee, the WWE commentator, former NFL punter, co-host of ESPN’s College Game Day, and host of the Pat McAfee Show, took great offense at this despicable display of disrespect.

“This is the most stacked Elimination Chamber that the WWE has ever had,” McAfee declared. “Kinda sucks that it’s in the terrible country of Canada that booed our national anthem to start this entire thing.”

Canadians began booing the American anthem during sporting events after Donald Trump repeatedly said he wanted to annex Canada as the 51st state.

Social media exploded as woke leftists began attacking McAfee for being a Trump supporter.

But McAfee refused to back down to the outrage mob when he responded to the backlash on his own show, saying he understood Canadians were upset that he called their country terrible, but that they were booing his country, so he hoped they understood his passion.

“Now Canada, listen, there’s been some things said to me from Canadians that I guess I respect because of the passion that you have for your country — which I hope you understand that I was showing the same for mine. You booed my country,” McAfee declared.

McAfee explained that he loves America, and the national anthem holds a special place in his heart.

“My entire life when somebody boos the national anthem is ‘f–k you’ … So anytime I’ve heard somebody boo our national anthem my national reaction is, ‘let’s fight,’” McAfee added.

McAfee said he also understood the current political climate but that he had nothing against the nation of Canada.

“I understand that there are political differences at the current moment between us and Canada… But I feel like anytime I think of Canada… I don’t immediately think about what Canada is doing in the political sphere. I think of the people of Canada… I think of the magical times I had up in Niagara Falls as a teenager… I think about good times,” McAfee continued.

McAfee told viewers that “… I understand, now, from the Canadians that they have a lot more passion for their country than I could have imagined. A lot of terrible things have been said about me, and I understand it.”

But McAfee explained that he wanted everyone to understand “… I didn’t say Canadians were terrible, I said your country was. You booed us, I said you were terrible, let’s shake hands and move along. I still love Canadians… I hope it gets settled.”

But as Canada prepares to elect its next leader, it is looking like things will get much worse in the Great White North.
