Muskegon's city clerk caught between 8,000 and 10,000 suspicious voter registrations dumped on her desk in 2020.
Everyone was told that was an isolated incident contained to one small city.
New evidence just proved that story wrong in 68 different directions.
Muskegon Was Never the Whole Story
Ann Meisch runs the Muskegon city clerk's office.
In October 2020, a woman working for a group called GBI Strategies started dropping off registration forms by the thousands.
Meisch noticed something wrong immediately.
Same handwriting on different forms. Mismatched signatures. Addresses that didn't exist.
She reported it to police. Investigators later confirmed a portion of the batch was clearly fraudulent.
The FBI eventually took over. Nobody was ever charged.
That was supposed to be the end of it.
Newly surfaced evidence from a private Michigan clerks' Facebook page tells a completely different story.
USPS receipts show GBI Strategies mailed more than 104 separate packages of voter registrations to 68 different cities across Michigan.
Detroit. Dearborn. Flint. Grand Rapids. Pontiac. Southfield. Holland. Inkster.
Muskegon wasn't the target. Muskegon was just the one clerk who blew the whistle.
Follow the Money and You Find Democrat Fingerprints Everywhere
GBI Strategies wasn't some rogue operation nobody heard of.
Campaign finance records show the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee paid the group $188,000.
Doug Jones' Senate campaign paid them over a million and a half dollars.
A left-wing group called the New American Jobs Fund kicked in another $657,000.
This wasn't grassroots canvassing. This was a professionally funded operation with deep ties to national Democrat campaign infrastructure.
An investigator on camera told GBI's own suspect flatly that crimes had been committed.
Nobody was prosecuted anyway.
Michigan's Top Election Official Knew and Said Nothing
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is now running to be Michigan's next governor.
Before that, she ran the office responsible for protecting the integrity of Michigan's voter rolls.
Her own analyst, Corey Ames, stated directly in a police report that a portion of the GBI forms were clearly fraudulent.
Benson had that information. She sat on it. She told the public there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud in Michigan anyway.
At the same time, she instructed local clerks to ignore signature matching on absentee ballots, a move that violated state election law.
An official spokesperson for the state's own investigation later admitted the fraud reached only the "lowest levels" of the company, a defense that conveniently stops the trail before it reaches anyone with real power.
That explanation gets a lot harder to sell now that Muskegon wasn't the only city on the mailing list.
Legacy Media Had This Story and Buried It
The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press are Michigan's two largest newspapers.
Neither outlet dug into the full scope of this investigation when it mattered.
They had access to the same state police report Michigan activists eventually FOIA'd and handed to independent journalists instead.
They chose not to look.
That silence let a Democrat secretary of state run for governor without ever answering for what her own analyst already knew back in 2020.
Trump referenced the Muskegon case directly in a nationwide address, releasing a law enforcement timeline the White House says shows work on the case continuing into 2024.
Now the evidence shows the operation was never confined to one city at all.
Sixty eight cities got the same envelopes. Only one clerk had the nerve to say something.
