The Biden-Harris regime has failed miserably on numerous fronts.
But in one key area they continue to be responsible for the deaths of countless Americans.
And a jury verdict made Kamala Harris sweat bullets.
Democrats’ open borders insanity
In September 2022, Border Patrol agents apprehended illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra as he crossed the U.S.-Mexico border.
As Breitbart noted, from there, the Biden-Harris “Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released Ibarra into the U.S. interior” with nothing more than a promise that he’d eventually return for an immigration hearing.
He then found his way to the Democrat-controlled “sanctuary state” of New York, where he lived at an expensive, upscale hotel and had all his other needs taken care of at taxpayer’s expense, before ultimately being granted a work permit by the Biden-Harris regime.
In September 2023, just one year after he was apprehended while illegally crossing the southern border, Ibarra was arrested by local authorities in New York on charges of child endangerment.
But Democrat prosecutors in the state refused to press charges against the illegal alien, and even went so far as to expunge the arrest from his record.
That ultimately allowed the criminal illegal alien to board a taxpayer-funded flight to Georgia, where he proceeded to murder University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley while she was out for a morning run.
Heart-wrenching audio recordings played during Ibarra’s trial exposed the fact that Riley spent a full 18 minutes desperately fighting for her life, but she was eventually overpowered and murdered in cold blood.
Thankfully, a jury recently convicted Ibarra on charges associated with Riley’s murder, leading a judge to sentence him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Justice prevails
While President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris continued to ignore Riley’s murder at the hands of one of the many criminal illegal aliens they’ve helped traffic into the country, President-elect Donald Trump celebrated Ibarra’s sentencing.
“JUSTICE FOR LAKEN RILEY!” Trump wrote on X. “The Illegal who killed our beloved Laken Riley was just found GUILTY on all counts for his horrific crimes. Although the pain and heartbreak will last forever, hopefully this can help bring some peace and closure to her wonderful family who fought for Justice, and to ensure that other families don’t have to go through what they have.”
Riley’s murder – as well as many others – played a major factor in the 2024 election cycle, leading the majority of Americans to list illegal immigration as one of the top issues in the race.
Trump often referenced Riley throughout the campaign, and even took time to visit with her family, while Kamala’s refusal to mention her name or rebuke the policies she helped implement that caused her murder ultimately helped cause her campaign’s downfall.
In celebrating the ruling against Ibarra, the President-elect also doubled down on his border security agenda, calling for measures to be taken to ensure “nothing like this can happen again!”
“We love you, Laken, and our hearts will always be with you,” Trump wrote. “It is time to secure our Border, and remove these criminals and thugs from our Country, so nothing like this can happen again!”
Biden, Kamala, and their fellow Democrats all have the blood of countless innocent Americans on their hands because of their failed open borders agenda.
If it wasn’t for their efforts to flood the nation with millions of unvetted illegal aliens who they hoped to turn into loyal Democrat voters, Laken Riley, and many others, would still be with their families and loved ones.
But thankfully, Donald Trump and his administration are determined to right this wrong.
