A shop owner delivered a reality check to thieves that nobody saw coming

Soft-on-crime states like California have left their citizens defenseless against hard criminals, but one shop owner just made it clear that he will not be targeted any longer.

Blue states like California have completely abandoned public safety for their citizens.

Soros-funded DA’s and Democrats in office have continued to allow violent criminals to do whatever they want, consequence free.

And one Californian shop owner just delivered a reality check to thieves that nobody saw coming.

Woman and 18 accomplices allegedly went on a two-day long rampage through a single story

“Extraordinaire Arcade” in San Bernardino, California, was robbed by thieves taking advantage of the shop’s closing over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Following the robbery, shop owner Will Luna made it clear that he was not going to just let the latest of a series of robberies targeting his neighborhood go unchecked.

Just after Luna had locked his doors to take off for the November holiday, a woman had dropped in from the attic where she had been hiding and plotting her malicious scheme.

She immediately opened the store’s doors to allow in 18 others from the many local homeless encampments where they completely ransacked his store over the next couple of nights.

One of the items they had stolen was an entire arcade unit.

“There was an X-Men 4-player that was right there,” Luna said to a reporter at KTTV in Los Angeles. “They took a full-sized game right out the door.”

“I have pictures and video of them dragging it out,” he complained.

Luna explained that he did not know anything of the burglary until he returned to work Friday morning, in which he explained that there was roughly $12,000 worth of damage that he would be left on the hook for.

But the thieves had bitten off more than they could chew, and it caused things to take a turn for the worse for those criminals.

According to KTTV, following their heist, they retreated back into Luna’s attic where they crawled into the salon next door to his shop.

“They dropped down, but I have double locks on each door,” said Teri Sandoval, owner of the neighboring shop “Salon Metro.”

“So, they were like caged animals. They couldn’t get back out once they got in, and I can speak through my security system,” the shop owner explained. “So, I [was] screaming at them, ‘The cops are on the way, you better get the heck out of here!’”

By the time police had arrived to the scene of the crime, all of the thieves had managed to escape.

Luna and Sandoval recognized some of the criminals, however, and believed that they had lived in a nearby homeless encampment.

“I say [they were] homeless because we have them on surveillance camera, and I recognize some of them,” noted Luna. “I’m not going to just accuse anybody.”

“We saw them,” he added.

Police shrug off burglary leaving Luna to respond by himself

While police conducted their investigation around the incident, a vagrant approached Luna with information critical to the case – he had seen much of the stolen merchandise from his store in a nearby homeless camp.

Luna forwarded this information to the police, only to discover that the police were dropping their investigation.

“I said, ‘Why can’t you guys just move this s*** and go in there?’” Luna explained. “They said, ‘We can’t.’”

“It violated homeless rights,” Luna noted in a recent interview with the New York Post. “I said, ‘I don’t give a f*** about how many rights they have. These people have my stuff.’”

The police concerningly explained to Luna that they were actually not allowed to enter the encampment to retrieve the stolen goods, but they explained that he was allowed to if he wanted to.

And that is precisely what Luna decided to do.

“I just went through all their tents. I started knocking that s*** down,” Luna recalled. “I was ripping all the tents up. And I start finding my stuff.”

After reacquiring many of the goods stolen from his store, Luna decided to check the homeless camp that had formed on the other side of the street as well.

The store owner was able to discover even more stolen games, parts, accessories and even snacks that were taken from his shop.

Despite numerous goods he was able to retrieve, Luna was unable to relocate the most valuable stolen goods, such as numerous PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as his X-Men arcade cabinet.

As a result of Luna taking matters into his own hands, and the lack of police involvement with the situation, the homeless criminals decided to retaliate.

Soon after Luna took back the goods that were rightfully his in the homeless camps, one person decided to head back to his store where they set his shop ablaze.

“They’re f***ing with us hard now,” Luna concluded.

As of now, Luna is uncertain that the police will get involved with the arson, and he has no updates on whether or not an investigation has come together.
