Chick-fil-A continues to remain one of the most popular fast-food franchises in the nation.
But now the popular Christian chicken chain is facing a major roadblock in their attempts to remain atop the fast-food industry.
And Chick-fil-A is facing a major battle after this bombshell announcement rocked the Christian fast-food chain.
Shake Shack launches attack on Chick-fil-A for staying closed on Sundays
The popular New York-based burger chain Shake Shack is now looking to eat into Chick-fil-A’s stranglehold in the competitive chicken sandwich market.
While it’s not uncommon for competitors to lob potshots at one another in the fast-food wars, Shake Shack has taken the fight to a new level.
Because Shake Shack has attacked Chick-fil-A for closing on Sunday to observe the Sabbath due to founder Truett Cathy’s Christian faith.
Estimates show Chick-fil-A forfeits roughly $1 billion in sales by closing on Sundays out of respect for keeping the Lord’s Day holy.
Shake Shack used that as a point of mockery against Christians and Chick-fil-A.
“Here at Shake Shack, we pride ourselves on our Chicken Shack which is available 7 days a week,” a press release from Shake Shack touting their chicken sandwiches read.
Under fire for antibiotics
A more reasonable line of attack from Shake Shack came when it pointed out it uses antibiotic free chicken meat in their sandwiches.
“With crispy, white-meat chicken breast over lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo on a toasted potato bun, this sandwich outshines its competition. And what makes our Chicken Shack even better, is that it’s made with antibiotic-free chicken, something not everyone can say these days . . .” the Shake Shack press release added.
Shake Shack even used Chick-fil-A’s trademark “eat more chicken” catchphrase against them in a spoof of the line.
“Eat More Antibiotic-Free Chicken,” Shake Shack’s press release continued.
Chick-fil-A claimed supply concerns were why it didn’t stick with antibiotic-free chicken meat.
“As we look to the future, the availability of high-quality chicken that meets our rigid standards has become a concern. This change enables us to not only ensure we can continue to serve high-quality chicken, but also chicken that still meets the expectations our customers count on us to deliver,” a statement from Chick-fil-A spokesperson to Fox News Digital read.
Chick-fil-A’s DEI secret
Last year, Chick-fil-A faced criticism from its customer base over its corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policy and the hiring of Erik McReynolds as the Vice President of DEI.
DEI is literally wokeness. You can dress it up in nice language that appeals to your Christianity or sense empathy but in practice it always boils down to the same SocJus nonsense that is destroying every industry and institution. pic.twitter.com/wuPIK0tpit

DEI is a racist and prejudiced system that sets hiring and promotion policies in corporate America based on race, gender, and sexual orientation.
The policies openly discriminate against white and Asian Americans in favor of other races.
The use of DEI is Chick-fil-A’s real weak spot and if this issue becomes a bigger issue in either politics or the broader culture, Chick-fil-A could face a Bud Light-style boycott.
