It takes a lot of screwing up by a Democrat like Kamala Harris for her media pals at CNN to throw their hands up and abandon rushing in to provide cover.
Kamala learned just how much at the worst time possible.
And CNN left Democrats blown away after delivering this one massive dunk on Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris doubles down on a big fracking lie on CNN
One of the most memorable parts of Kamala Harris’ sixteen minute, pre-taped interview with CNN was when host Dana Bash attempted to throw Harris a lifeline by offering a chance to walk back her support for banning fracking.
Fracking has found itself to be a talk issue in the upcoming election due to its importance to the economy of Pennsylvania.
Fracking plays such a crucial role to the state’s economy that it is virtually impossible for Kamala to win Pennsylvania while promoting its economic destruction.
And that is where Bash rushed in like a lifeguard with a raft, trying to aid the damage control.
“In 2019 you said, quote: ‘There is no question. I’m in favor of banning fracking.’ Fracking, as you know, is a pretty big issue, particularly in your must-win state of Pennsylvania,” started Bash. “Do you still want to ban fracking?”
Instead of catching the perfectly set up que to save herself on the issue, Kamala decided to blatantly lie about her previous position.
She claimed that she not only opposed a ban on fracking now, but claimed that she had opposed it all the way back to 2020.
“No,” responded Harris. “And I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking as vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president I will not ban fracking,” Kamala claimed.
Bash, realizing that Kamala Harris completely missed the attempt to clean up the debate over this issue, gave Harris a second attempt.
“In 2019, I believe in a town hall, you were asked, would you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking on your first day in office and you said: ‘There’s no question. I’m in favor of banning fracking, so yes,’” she responded.
Harris doubled down on her lie by, again, claiming that her position “changed in that campaign in 2020,” arguing that she had “made that very clear.”

Kamala gets called out by CNN fact checker
For CNN’s anti-Trump fact-checker Daniel Dale to spend any attention fact checking a Democrat requires a really bad mistake.
Kamala Harris’ lie about her position on fracking was so blatant that Dale had no choice but to give it some attention.
Kamala had dropped out of the Democrat Primary for President in late 2019.
And the only general election debate that she had any involvement with was when she debated Vice President Mike Pence.
During the debate, Dale brought attention to the fact that Kamala only had claimed that Joe Biden wouldn’t ban fracking.
“So, she ended her 2020 presidential run in December 2019. The only debate she participated in in 2020 was the general election debate with then-Vice President Mike Pence,” began Dale.
“And I went over the transcript of that debate tonight. Nowhere in there does she make clear that she had abandoned her previous support for a fracking ban; rather, she repeated that Joe Biden, the head of the democratic ticket at the time, would himself not ban fracking,” he concluded.
It’s normally very easy for Democrats to lie without getting hit by a fact checker from their allies in the media.
But Kamala Harris is apparently not smart enough to accomplish that much.
Voters can clearly and easily see directly through Kamala Harris’ flip-flops, not just on fracking, but also the border.
And it’s causing a growing frustration by Americans who are being gaslit by her no-policy campaign that just focuses on a “vibe.”
