Donald Trump’s decision to recruit Senator J.D. Vance to be his running mate has shaken up the narrative for the 2024 Presidential election.

The GOP establishment has been fuming in anger over his selection.

And Donald Trump just delivered this one shocking response after Fox News attacked J.D. Vance,

Media targets Senator J.D. Vance

The media is clearly not happy with former President Donald Trump’s decision to select Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his Vice Presidential candidate.

Since the announcement, the establishment GOP has been pushing the narrative that Trump not selecting a RNO like Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) or Nikki Haley will ultimately ruin his campaign.

But the reality is that the so-called “legacy” media and the “Swamp” did not want someone who actually supports Trump’s agenda at the helm of the party.

One radical activist, Tim Alberta from The Atlantic, went as far as posting on social media – with zero evidence – trying to claim that Trump deeply regretted his selection of Vance.

“Most striking thing I heard from Trump allies yesterday was the second-guessing of J.D. Vance – a selection, they acknowledged, that was borne of cockiness, meant to run up margins with the base in a blowout rather than persuade swing voters in a nail-biter,” he said on X.

Steve Doocy, co-host of Fox & Friends, pushed that attack even further during a recent phone interview with Donald Trump.

“Mr. President. You know, it was just about a week ago that you selected J.D. Vance to be your running mate,” started Doocy. “Now, we know that at that point, you didn’t know that Kamala Harris was going to be your main opponent.”

“But now, she is. And I’m sure you’ve seen there have been a couple of stories out that say they wonder whether or not you feel you made the right pick, given the fact you didn’t realize you were going to be running against a woman who might now try to pick a running mate to deliver a key state or a demographic or anything like that. You’re still 100% behind J.D. Vance, right?” he inquired.

Donald Trump’s powerful response

The outrage coming from the GOP around Vance is coming from “Swamp” RINOs that just want to keep throwing billions of dollars at the war in Ukraine.

They know that J.D. Vance will stand solidly behind Trump’s America First foreign policy, solidifying this agenda deeply within the Republican Party platform.

With zero hesitation, Trump flat-out denied the false claims that he held some buyer’s remorse about recruiting Vance to the ticket.

“He’s fantastic. Yeah,” responded Trump. “No, it wouldn’t have mattered. And I thought she was probably going to happen anyway because I know.”

“I knew there was a palace coup going on, and I assumed that she’d be probably getting it,” he added.

Trump then went on to praise Vance’s ability to deliver a populist conservative appeal to the working-class Americans.

“She had the advantage. So, yeah, it wouldn’t matter now,” continued Trump. “He’s doing a fantastic job because he’s essentially for the worker.”

“He’s seen the worker be horribly abused and taken advantage of, and he’s for their work,” said Trump of J.D. Vance. “And that’s what his book is about.”

“That’s what his feelings about, you know, he’s for the worker. No. He’s great. He’s doing a great job. And he’s been very well received,” Trump concluded.

But it’s not just what Trump is saying that proves this truth.

The campaign has indicated that they are so confident in Senator Vance that they hosted a joint rally with Trump in Minnesota, while Vance is leading solo events in key swing states such as Nevada.
