DSA Handed Its Election Night Mic to Hasan Piker Even Fetterman Calls a Raging Antisemite

Democrats just handed the socialist wing of their party its biggest night yet.

The group celebrating that win put its loudest antisemitism problem behind the mic.

What he said back to his critics is why even his closest allies are distancing themselves.

ADL's Jonathan Greenblatt Says the Democratic Socialists of America Are Elevating Antisemitism

The Democratic Socialists of America did not pick a neutral host for its official election night livestream on November 3, 2026.

It picked Hasan Piker, a Twitch streamer who told his audience in April 2026 that he would vote for Hamas over Israel.

Piker has called Orthodox Jews "inbred."

He has described Zionism as "an exterminationist ideology built around ethnoreligious supremacist values."

Sen. John Fetterman, a Democrat, warned his party about this exact streamer back in April 2026.

Fetterman said Piker had become "such a raging antisemite" that even a man with a Nazi tattoo canceled an appearance rather than share a stage with him.

Fetterman put the choice to his own party in four words: "whose side are you on."

The DSA answered that question on election night by putting Piker behind the camera for more than 13 hours.

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt did not mince words after watching it happen.

"The DSA isn't distancing itself from this kind of rhetoric," Greenblatt wrote on X. "It's elevating it."

Piker's response to Greenblatt was not an apology.

He called the ADL chief a "bald piece of s—" and bragged that Elon Musk had "burned 450 million" dollars losing races across the country that same night.

Hours earlier, Piker had told his stream he could "imagine a world where Donald Trump is in" prison, cheering as the returns rolled in.

Darializa Avila Chevalier and Four Other Democratic Socialists Now Face a GOP Bid to Block Them from Congress

Piker is not a bystander to the DSA's rise.

He campaigned alongside Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan for months before the election.

He interviewed and promoted DSA-aligned winners Chris Rabb in Pennsylvania, Melat Kiros in Colorado, Donavan McKinney in Michigan, Claire Valdez in New York, and Darializa Avila Chevalier in New York.

Every one of those candidates won on November 3, 2026.

Republicans are not waiting to see what the socialist wing does with that win.

Rep. Keith Self of Texas told Fox News Digital he is ready to challenge DSA members-elect under a rarely used House rule that lets one member-elect contest whether another can take the oath.

"You cannot swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution while actively working to destroy it," Self said.

Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee has his sights set on Chevalier specifically, over a deleted 2019 post about wiping her hands on an American flag.

Speaker Mike Johnson has waved off the idea as a "nonsense narrative," though the real obstacle is a 1969 Supreme Court ruling, Powell v. McCormack, which says the House cannot exclude a member-elect who meets the Constitution's age, residency, and citizenship requirements.

That has not stopped Self or Burchett from saying they will try anyway.

The Oath Fight Proves the Democratic Socialists of America Already Owns a Piece of the Democrat Party

Democrats celebrated five socialist wins and one antisemitism scandal on the same night, and that is not a coincidence.

The DSA did not stumble into Hasan Piker by accident.

It chose him because his audience is the same audience propelling its candidates into Congress.

That is the trade Democratic leadership has made with the socialist wing: look past a host who jokes about Jews being inbred in exchange for the turnout DSA delivers on election night.

Fetterman saw this coming back in April 2026, drawing a line inside the Democratic Party long before Republicans ever found a procedural rule to fight it with.

Powell v. McCormack might get Chevalier sworn in no matter what Self and Burchett try, but no court ruling can un-ring the bell Hasan Piker already rang for 13 hours on election night.
