In a completely avoidable situation, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis just set her hair on fire by making this one terrible decision that may land her in another legal mess.

Fani Willis just recently attended an awards ceremony where she doubled down on her use of the race card throughout her legal persecution of former President Donald Trump.

“Recently, they tell me they don’t like me to talk about race,” Willis told the audience. “Well, I’m gonna talk about it anyway.”

This comes not too long after Judge Scott McAfee chastised the District Attorney in court for her comments attacking Trump and his co-defendants, explaining that her calling them racists was “legally improper” and that she “cast racial aspersions.”

This was the same day that the Judge ultimately permitted her to continue her case against Trump.

Judge McAfee pointed to comments made by Willis at a black church in January where she claimed that those who criticized her for her conflict of interest controversy were actually the ones playing the race card.

The controversy surrounded her hiring of Nathan Wade, who was having an affair with her, as the lead prosecutor against Trump.

“They are going to be mad when I call them out on this nonsense,” exclaimed Willis. “First thing they say, ‘oh, she’s going to play the race card.’ But… isn’t it them playing the race card when they think I need someone in some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing for almost 30 years?”

In his decision, the Judge explained that defense lawyers most definitely would be justified to request a gag order against prosecutors, which rarely ever happens.

“The time may well have arrived for an order preventing the State from mentioning the case in any public forum to prevent prejudicial pretrial publicity, but that is not the motion presently before the Court,” explained Judge McAfee.

Even after this staunch warning by the court, Fani Willis has refused to take his words into consideration.

She made it clear to the country that she has no plans to stop doing what she has been doing all year – publicly rallying for bias in her favor.

In a recent interaction with reporters, Willis claimed that a “train was coming” for former President Trump.

“While that was going on, we were writing responsive briefs, we were still doing the case in a way that it needed to be done,” argued Willis. “I don’t feel like we’ve been slowed down at all. I do think there are efforts to slow down this train, but the train is coming.”

According to CNN, Trump’s defense team has been deliberating the use of a gag order request against Fani Willis.

“It has been tossed around,” said one lawyer to CNN. “Frankly, as she continues to make outrageous public statements, she is digging herself further in a hole.”

The decision to make the request, however, was put on hold as there is still a chance that the case ends up being dropped before going to trial.

Trump’s defense team appears to be keeping this card in their deck for a later point in time, should they end up needing it.
