Federal agents raided Ilhan Omar's house two weeks ago over a citizenship fraud investigation.
She disappeared from public view, then resurfaced Friday with a video that looked like nothing at all.
Hidden inside that peaceful lake video was a message aimed straight at her enemies.
Ilhan Omar's Somali Rap Lyrics Boast Her Enemies Get Crushed
Omar posted the video herself.
It shows her and husband Tim Mynett ambling along a dock ringed by autumn leaves, coffee in hand, grinning at each other.
"Less scrolling, more strolling," she captioned it.
But the soundtrack she chose was not peaceful at all.
The song is called "Nimaan Ciilayba Icaaya," by Somali rapper Ilkacase Qays.
The lyrics, translated for Fox News Digital, boast that "no enemy dares threaten me, wherever I step, they scatter."
"They flee and stay far away," the song continues.
"I have always been the source of their distress."
Another line poses the question, "would he not have crushed the enemy underfoot?"
A cultural breakdown of the track describes it as built to portray Omar's opponents as humiliated and desperate.
She restricted replies on the post.
The one comment that got through was from Cori Bush, the far-left former congresswoman voters booted from office, who wrote: "We love this."
Omar chose that song two weeks after Homeland Security Investigations agents searched her Washington home at dawn.
Agents walked out of that raid with her passport and her cellphone.
Investigators have since sat down with her sister, Sahra Noor.
Fox News reports they've gotten her DNA, too.
The woman America knows as Ilhan Omar was reportedly born Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, and investigators are digging into whether she or her father lied on the paperwork that made her a citizen.
She turned up Friday at a Minneapolis polling site, voting early with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison by her side.
From there, it was lunch and photos with supporters at the Karmel Mall of Somalia.
Hours later came the lake video and that song about her enemies.
Homan's DOJ Denaturalization Crackdown Already Claimed Dozens of Citizenships
Border czar Tom Homan isn't hiding what comes next.
Homan said last week that federal investigators have a "strong case" against Omar and confirmed she could be denaturalized and deported if the fraud is proven.
He's made clear this isn't theoretical – the administration has stripped citizenship from naturalized criminals before.
President Trump has already called on Omar to resign and suggested the House could simply refuse to seat her if she wins reelection next week.
Omar is calling the entire investigation a "political hit job."
She is also fundraising off of it.
House Democratic leaders, Hakeem Jeffries included, rushed out a statement condemning the raid – not one of them has addressed the actual fraud allegations.
Ilhan Omar's Citizenship Fraud Case Fits a Growing DOJ Pattern
Here's what the Minneapolis press corps keeps leaving out of their stories.
This isn't some one-off stunt dreamed up to target a single congresswoman Trump doesn't like.
The Justice Department has filed a record wave of denaturalization cases this year, stripping citizenship from dozens of naturalized immigrants after federal attorneys proved they lied their way through the process.
Denaturalization isn't a speeding ticket.
Prosecutors have to prove in federal court that someone concealed a material fact or committed outright fraud on their original citizenship application – the same legal standard now being applied to Omar's case.
That's exactly why the passport seizure, the DNA swab, and the sister's interview matter.
Those are the building blocks of a federal fraud case, built the same way prosecutors built the other denaturalization cases the DOJ has already filed this year.
Omar has spent a decade building a brand as the untouchable progressive icon the media refuses to question.
Now federal investigators are treating her exactly like they've treated everyone else who may have lied to become an American citizen.
Instead of answering a single question about her name or her father's paperwork, she picked a song about scattering her enemies and let a woman voted out of Congress cheer her on in the comments.
That tells you everything about how confident she actually is.
