Jon Ossoff Went Full Melt Down Over Trump’s Speech Before Trump Even Said a Word

The Mueller investigation ended in 2019 without a single American charged with conspiring with Russia.

Hours before Trump's own primetime address, Jon Ossoff was already melting down, calling it misconduct.

Ossoff had a full meltdown over a speech he hadn't heard a single word of.

Ossoff Melted Down and Called Trump's Speech Misconduct Before Hearing a Word

Jon Ossoff stood in front of cameras hours before Trump's address and lost it.

"It is misconduct, presidential misconduct, to abuse the bully pulpit," Ossoff said.

He was melting down over what he expected Trump might reveal about election system weaknesses and 2020 interference claims, and he demanded every other elected official join his panic.

FBI Director Kash Patel and Vice President JD Vance sat in the East Room while Trump made his case, the exact kind of transparency Ossoff was condemning before it ever happened.

Then Trump gave the speech anyway and declassified the documents Ossoff was so afraid of, laying out election infrastructure concerns and China's role in 2020 for the entire country to see.

The records came from the White House Government Transparency Task Force and the President's Intelligence Advisory Board, and Trump said the nation's top intelligence chiefs personally reviewed them and confirmed they were authentic before he ever took the podium.

"This vital information has for many years been covered up and hidden from you," Trump said, according to Fox News.

Ossoff never got around to explaining what part of releasing that information to the American public counts as misconduct.

This Isn't Ossoff's First Rodeo With Selective Outrage

Ossoff's meltdown fits a pattern Georgia voters have seen before.

One day earlier, Ossoff sat across from Jay Clayton, Trump's pick to lead the nation's intelligence community, and lectured him for two hours about honesty.

"You refuse to answer a basic question about who won a presidential election," Ossoff told him, according to C-SPAN's record of the hearing.

Clayton was the one seeking Senate confirmation, yet Ossoff held him to a standard of instant, total candor he wouldn't extend to the president one day later.

Fox News reported that most senators on the panel had already accepted Clayton's answer that Biden was certified the winner.

Georgia voters may also remember Ossoff requiring government-issued photo ID just to get into his own campaign rally, according to the Gateway Pundit, while fighting Republicans in Washington who want that same requirement at the ballot box.

Asked earlier that day why President Trump won't let go of the 2020 election, Karoline Leavitt said Americans need secure elections or "we cannot have a country," according to The Washington Times.

Ossoff's Instant-Meltdown Playbook Heads Into the Midterms

Democrats spent the Trump years demanding transparency from every corner of his administration, and calling any resistance to it a cover-up.

The moment transparency actually arrived, in the form of declassified documents Trump released to the public, Jon Ossoff melted down and called it misconduct instead.

He didn't wait for evidence, he didn't wait for context, and he certainly didn't wait for the speech to finish before losing his composure on camera.

That's not principle, that's a reflex.

Democrats' response to the declassified evidence was to call Trump's push dead on arrival before a single senator even debated it.

Republicans rallied around the SAVE America Act within hours of the speech, according to Fox affiliate WSFX-TV, the same night Ossoff was still fuming over a speech he never let himself hear.

Georgia sent Ossoff to Washington promising independence from party orthodoxy.

What Georgia got is a senator who panics before the facts are in and demands ID at his own rally while opposing it everywhere else.

Watch him run this same meltdown playbook every time Trump releases something Democrats don't want voters to see between now and the midterms.
