Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis cannot stop tripping over her own feet.

Every month, she finds herself in some sort of trouble.

And Judge Scott McAfee just destroyed Fani Willis’ entire career in just three words.

Fani Willis cannot help herself from being controversial

Fani Willis has spent a good part of the last year leaning heavily into using the race card.

She already has to face the Georgia State Court of Appeals in early October to review a motion to disqualify her from leading her case against former President Donald Trump over allegations of conflict of interest.

During a speech at the Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta, Georgia, she accused those who didn’t support her of being extremely racist and sexist.

Willis argued before attendees that she was being “attacked and over-sexualized” because she was a black woman.

She has repeatedly refused to acknowledge that her sexual relationship with Nathan Wade had any level of ethical concern – despite the fact that both her and Wade garnered significant financial benefit after appointing him as the special prosecutor.

Willis also did not hesitate to deliver friendly fire upon her glowing fan club in the mainstream media.

She accused them of being bigots aiming to take out a black woman.

“That same media will jump at the morsel of a chance to tear a sister down,” slammed Willis in her fiery speech.

She also took the opportunity to target the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan (R-OH) – falling short of calling him out by name – referring to Jordan as a “clown” while complaining about how long he has served in Congress.

“He’s been sitting there for 17 years and passed zero laws,” continued Willis.

Jordan is currently investigating Willis for the misuse of taxpayer funding.

Her investigation in the House Judiciary Committee stemmed from a whistleblower who alleged that Willis fired her in retaliation for the whistleblower reporting that an aide was abusing federal grant funds for personal use.

Of course, Jordan’s investigation into Willis is only but one problem on her growing list of legal issues

Willis tests the boundaries of Judge McAfee

In the original motion to disqualify Fani Willis from the Fulton County Trump case, Judge Scott McAfee initially gave Willis another chance to correct her behavior.

But he did not hold back from pointing out how problematic her conduct and comments have been throughout the case.

McAfee even went as far as citing a speech given by Willis in an Atlanta black church back in January.

During her speech, she repeatedly accused her critics of being racist.

“They are going to be mad when I call them out on this nonsense,” complained Willis. “First thing they say, ‘Oh, she’s going to play the race card.’”

“But… isn’t it them playing the race card when they think I need someone in some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing almost 30 years?” she added in her rant.

Judge McAfee had to warn Willis that she appears to be accusing the defendants in her case of being racist, and that she was dabbling in what could easily be considered to be prejudicial comments designed to influence the jury.

While he has not decided to toss her case against Trump just yet, there is still plenty of time for that to change – especially if Willis doesn’t reign in her wildly politically-opportunistic language.

She is testing the limits of Judge McAfee, who claimed that her and Wade’s testimony held an “order of mendacity.”

This sort of language from a judge is a very strong rebuke that makes it clear that perjury charges are more than within the margin of reason during this trial.

And should Willis continue to refuse to get a grip over her racially divisive talking points, she could be facing much greater trouble in the upcoming weeks.
