Kamala Harris just flung these blue state mayors into full-on war against each other

There’s little hope of this situation improving if Kamala Harris is elected in November since she told CNN that while she’s moderated her campaign messaging, her “values haven’t changed”.

“Of course, you realize, this means war.”

Those words came from the animated lips of Bugs Bunny in many conflicts with his iconic foes – but now the phrase perfectly summarizes the conflict between two neighboring mayors.

And it turns out it’s Kamala Harris who just flung these blue state mayors into full-on war mode against each other.

Local municipalities struggle with border czar Kamala Harris failing to fix “root causes” of southern border crisis

Some 10-million illegal aliens have reportedly entered the United States since the beginning of the Biden-Harris administration.

To put that number in perspective, if you put all of those illegal aliens into one state, it would be the ninth largest state in America – about the size of Georgia, which is big enough to enjoy 16 electoral college votes.

The border crisis brings with it, violent human trafficking, drug trafficking, and infrastructural problems border towns simply can’t afford.

Additionally, according to a study by the House Homeland Security Committee, the illegal alien population within the U.S. is costing American taxpayers an estimated $451 billion annually.

And while more Americans are now familiar with the problems citizens say this has brought to states like New York and Illinois, the impact on others, like Colorado, has flown more under the radar.

But as the flood continues to drown municipalities in the Centennial State, two Mayors have opposite and conflicting views on who are the real victims.

Illegal alien gangs take over Colorado apartment complex under border czar Kamala Harris

Trending Politics is reporting that illegal gangs from Venezuela have completely taken over an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado.

“Multiple apartment buildings have been taken over by the armed gangs,” Trending Politics’ Collin Rugg tweeted. “The gangs are now collecting rents after they ‘pushed out’ the property management.”

Aurora is a very large suburb of Denver and is feeling the effect of overflow from Denver’s so-called “sanctuary city” policies.

But Aurora’s Republican Mayor Mike Coffman believes the illegal alien gang warfare devastating his city was caused by something even more sinister.

Mayor Coffman told Fox News he’s investigating who brought the gangs to his city and speculated it could have been the federal government.

“We are a victim of a failed policy at the southern border,” Coffman said. “The city of Aurora, we did everything we could to, quite frankly, keep them out of the city because it’s not our problem, this is a federal problem . . . what we’re trying to find out, and what I believe occurred, was that federal agencies worked with some of our local non-profits and put them (the illegal alien gangs) there (the Aurora apartment complex).”

Fox News even reported that gang leaders have greenlit members attacking the police.

Denver’s democrat Mayor doesn’t want to offend illegal aliens

Coffman obviously understands that illegal alien gangs are a dangerous problem.

And so does Denver’s Democrat Mayor Mike Johnston – although for completely different reasons.

Johnston actually believes it’s the illegal alien gang members who are the true victims.

The open-borders advocate gave an interview with a local Denver news outlet where he prioritized not hurting the feelings of illegal aliens.

“Any population will have a small subset of folks who don’t follow the rules,” Johnston said. “We actually know, historically it’s always true we have lower levels of crime around migrants than we do our general population. There’s a risk of misperception that some of this population is more dangerous and causing more trouble. That’s just factually not true.”

Johnston’s claim is undercut by the fact that illegal aliens commit a crime coming into this country in the first place.

Also, the numbers are difficult to pinpoint because so many large blue cities where most illegal aliens live don’t work with immigration officials or release immigration status of criminals.

Meanwhile, in 2015, the U.S. Sentencing Commission released data showing illegal aliens accounted for 75% of federal drug convictions, 30% of people with kidnapping convictions, 10% of money laundering convictions, and 5% of murder convictions.

And just this week, The New York Post reported that law enforcement officials are estimating about 75% of crimes in Manhattan and about 60% in Queens are committed by illegal aliens.

Those crimes include the likes of assault, robbery, and domestic violence.

But Denver’s Democrat mayor is more concerned about not offending those illegal aliens.

“I think the much bigger risk is that you’ll have a perception that all the newcomers in the city are dangerous,” Johnston said. “And nothing could be farther from the truth.”

He scouted for overlooked role players, value drafts with lots of picks, and trades.
