Kamala Harris faces the failure of botched Afghanistan withdrawal
When Joe Biden ordered the withdrawal from Afghanistan with zero planning or strategy, Kamala Harris claimed to be the “last person in the room.”
As the anniversary of America’s biggest military debacle in history approaches, Kamala Harris is finding herself in a spotlight she hoped to never be in.
The scrutiny surrounds the failure to protect Americans, leaving thousands behind Taliban lines while 13 service members were killed.
Special Forces operator Tim Kennedy made an appearance on Fox Business where he detailed his experience with one of those 13 service members who was killed in a suicide bomb attack at Kabul Airport.
“Seeing their faces hurts,” started Kennedy. “I was with one of the members that morning, the day of the attack.”
Kennedy noted that one of the fallen soldiers had actually volunteered to assist at the airport to aid refugees attempting to flee the bloodthirsty Taliban.
“She volunteered to come and help search the refugees that were bringing on to the airbase to try and fly them out,” proclaimed Kennedy. “And she’s woken up in the middle of the morning, came out and was searching and in the middle of the most dangerous day perhaps even during the whole entire time that we’re in Afghanistan.”
Kennedy then explained that his friend had died after she had worked a 12-hour day, followed by volunteering to work an additional 12 hours at the airport afterwards.
“She gets out of bed after she’d been working 12 hours, she has another 12-hour shift, and she volunteers her time, and then a few hours later she dies to Abbey Gate,” Kennedy heartbreakingly shared.
No consequences for deadly failed policies
Kennedy mentioned how the bombing at the Kabul Airport, where 13 Americans in uniform had died, still haunts him and his colleagues in the military to this day.
“It hurts still to this day as it hurts so many service members,” he noted.
Joe Biden has still refused to acknowledge those 13 service members that were tragically killed at Abbey Gate.
But according to Kennedy, what is more tragic is that three years later, Kamala Harris has refused to propose a change in course.
In fact, Harris has continued to campaign as a mere continuation of Joe Biden and his destructive policies that resulted in 13 Americans in the military needlessly losing their lives.
“And you know it’s not just the way that they talk, it’s the policies that they fail to enforce and even worse the policies that they put forth as solutions that we know are just complicit and weak,” he continued.
“They put forth as solutions that we know are just complicit and weak,” added Kennedy. “The rest of the world looks at us and we are crumbling on our position in the world stage is being broken down.”
