Leaked Facebook Posts Reveal Michigan Clerks Statewide Got Same Fraudulent Registration Packages

Muskegon City Clerk Ann Meisch reported thousands of fraudulent voter registrations to police in 2020.

A leaked Michigan clerks Facebook page just revealed she was not the only one who got them.

Clerks across Michigan received the same fraud packages, and some just laughed.

A Care Package From a Hotel Room in Auburn Hills

Meisch posted a photo to a private Michigan clerks Facebook group in October 2020.

The image showed a package stuffed with voter registration forms, all bearing signatures that looked suspiciously alike.

The return address traced back to a Staybridge hotel in Auburn Hills, with the name "EM" scrawled where a sender should be.

EM stood for Empower Michigan, a name investigators later tied directly to a left-wing outfit called GBI Strategies.

Meisch did what a real public servant does when something smells wrong.

She called the police.

A newly surfaced trove from that same private Facebook group shows her fellow clerks were not so quick to act.

One clerk flagged two separate stacks of forms arriving the same day, all mailed from that same Auburn Hills address.

Another clerk flagged her own packages as fraudulent, noting one applicant's gender was left blank and a second had misspelled their own name.

A third clerk described hauling in a giant box of forms that looked fraudulent.

Several clerks responded to the thread with laughing emojis instead of picking up a phone.

These clerks were posting from all over the state, not just Muskegon.

GBI Strategies Was Not a Rogue Employee, It Was a Machine

Democrat officials spent years selling Muskegon as an isolated hiccup that got caught and fixed.

The newly leaked Facebook posts blow that story apart.

Investigators found GBI Strategies had operated since 2014 and ran canvassing crews inside Flint, Benton Harbor, Ypsilanti, Inkster, Southfield, Lansing and Saginaw.

The Michigan State Police report showed the group collected $1,571,386 from the Doug Jones Senate campaign and another $188,000 from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

State police records show the operation reached eight states and Washington D.C., including Iowa, Illinois, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

An employee named Brianna Hawkins personally dropped 8,000 to 10,000 forms at Meisch's office in a single day, in a city with only 30,000 eligible voters.

That is one operative trying to register roughly a third of the city's entire voter rolls in a single afternoon.

Investigators later determined 65 percent of those forms were fraudulent.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel's office had that number and sat on it.

Nessel spokesman Danny Wimmer told the public the fraud was caught and the system worked, full stop.

An investigator can be heard telling the GBI employee "that's why we're talking to you versus arresting you," a stunning admission caught on tape.

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's own analyst confirmed in the police report that a batch of the forms were "clearly fraudulent."

Benson, now running for Michigan governor, told the public for years there was no widespread fraud to see.

The Federal File That Would Not Die

President Trump dragged this case back into the daylight during his national address, releasing the underlying law enforcement documents himself.

The timeline he released shows federal prosecutors debating this case for years without ever pulling the trigger.

An assistant U.S. attorney tried to close the Western District's piece of it in November 2021, and the case agent refused to let it go.

By July 2024 the U.S. Attorney announced there would be no prosecution, then reportedly reconsidered within three months.

The FBI finally closed the file in September 2025 with no charges against anyone involved.

Zero arrests, zero prosecutions, one retired clerk left holding the only piece of paperwork anybody bothered to act on.

That is not a system that worked, it is a system that got caught and walked away.

Nessel and Benson had the state police findings on their desks the whole time and chose silence over subpoenas.

Voters in Flint, Benton Harbor and Saginaw never got the chance to ask why an operation funded by Joe Biden's own campaign was working their precincts.

Trump is now asking the FBI and DOJ to reopen a file federal officials spent five years trying to bury.

The clerks have the receipts, Trump has the files, and the people who buried this for five years just ran out of hiding places.
