Karine Jean-Pierre is winding down her final days as Biden’s White House press secretary.
But that doesn’t mean she’s out of the woods yet.
And Peter Doocy caught Karine Jean-Pierre in a trap she couldn’t get out of after this damning video surfaced.
Peter Doocy questions Jean-Pierre on the strained Joe Biden-Kamala Harris relationship
Kamala Harris lost to Donald Trump in epic fashion.
And she did so after benefiting from the Pelosi-Obama coup that deposed Joe Biden as the Democrat Party’s Presidential nominee.
Then Kamala Harris even banished Joe Biden from the campaign trail in the closing weeks of the election after Biden called Trump supporters “garbage” and told the press Kamala was in charge of foreign and domestic policy.
One week after her crushing loss Kamala Harris and Biden finally had a private lunch meeting.
But Biden and Kamala Harris allies sniped at each other in the media in the days leading up to this meeting as Biden allies – like former Kamala Harris aide Symone Sanders-Townsend – openly wondered if Democrats made a mistake in ditching Biden as their candidate.
Doocy asked Jean-Pierre a perfectly normal question about whether there was tension between Biden and Kamala over the fact that Kamala took the nomination away from Biden and then lost to Donald Trump anyway.
“We know that today, a week after the election, President Biden and Vice President Harris had a private lunch. How awkward was that?” Doocy wondered.
Jean-Pierre immediately proceeded to fly off the handle.
“I don’t even understand. Why would it be awkward?” Jean-Pierre ranted. “Why would you characterize it as awkward? They have regular lunches, they meet and talk regularly. Why would you call it awkward?”
“So there’s no weirdness about the way that things have unfolded?” Doocy followed up.
Jean-Pierre then tried to claim there was no awkwardness in the air based on how Kamala and Joe Biden interacted at a Veteran’s Day ceremony.
“Did you see them together yesterday as well when they honored our veterans and were together during the day making sure that we didn’t forget the brave men and women that fought for this country,” Jean-Pierre stated.
Jean-Pierre’s responses made it clear she was experiencing PTSD just having to relive the election debacle.
“Did you see them together yesterday? Did you see the show of force together? This is … I’m not even gonna take the premise of this question. What I will say is the president and the vice president had lunch today, they’ve had lunch many times, they have — they communicate with each other regularly and had an opportunity to discuss the last 70 days or so of this administration, how important it is to get things done for the American people, and that’s their focus. That is genuinely their focus,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
What the video tape actually shows
The actual video footage of Kamala Harris’ personal interactions with Biden doesn’t depict the “show of force” that Karine Jean-Pierre claimed took place.
Cameras caught Jill Biden icing out Kamala Harris and refusing to even acknowledge her existence.
Jill Biden reportedly was the one pushing Joe Biden to stay in the race and fight back against Nancy Pelosi’s pressure campaign.
The soon-to-be former First Lady clearly liked traveling on Air Force One and enjoyed the other trappings of power that came with being First Lady.
And if anything, Jill Biden clearly resents Kamala Harris for benefitting from the coup that took it all away from her.
