President-elect Donald Trump heard these two words that have everyone shaking in their boots

A leftist attempt to taunt Trump has now backfired in a big way.

Donald Trump will become the next President less than one month from now.

But for now, everyone in Washington, D.C. is walking around on egg shells.

And President-elect Donald Trump heard these two words that have everyone shaking in their boots.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump teamed up to lead the opposition to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s Swamp spending bill.

The original proposal would have locked in funding for Joe Biden’s online censorship regime, protected members of the January 6 Committee from investigation, and boosted the national debt by trillions of dollars.

This bill was seen as the last chance for the Swamp to handcuff Donald Trump’s first year of his new Presidency by funding Joe Biden’s agenda throughout 2025.

Not surprisingly, Democrats, RINOs, and the mainstream media threw a temper tantrum.

And they used one of the oldest tricks in the books to try and upset the new power structure in Washington, D.C. – divide and conquer.

RINOs in the media, like CNN’s Adam Kinzinger, immediately began taunting Donald Trump that Elon Musk was the real President since Musk’s 70 posts on X were what began rallying the opposition to the spending bill before Trump swooped in for the kill shot.

Of course, Congressional Democrats immediately began parroting this talking point.

Speaker Musk?

“If this is the type of power he has, then he is going to be the unelected co-president of this country and we’ve got to be super blunt about it,” Congressman Maxwell Frost (D-FL) told reporters.

“A lot of the Republicans are pushing for him to become speaker of the House, which might be a demotion for him because he’s basically the fourth branch of the government,” January 6 Committee members and Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD) added.

Democrats and their media mouthpieces thought the constant talk that Musk was the real president would drive Trump insane and cause him to cast Musk out of his inner circle.

But Trump and Musk recognized what was going on and didn’t fall for it.

“As soon as President Trump released his official stance on the CR, Republicans on Capitol Hill echoed his point of view. President Trump is the leader of the Republican Party. Full stop,” Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt declared.

And Musk gave Donald Trump all the credit for killing the swamp’s spending bill.

“This shows how much your voice matters!” Musk wrote on X.

“And having a President like Donald Trump means that your voice is finally heard,” Musk added.

Trump’s team also talked up this dynamic and pointed out the President-elect wanted Musk out front leading the opposition since his megaphone on X was bigger than any possessed by the conservative media.

“A Trump source told us this is the new playbook: Republican lawmakers got “instant and overwhelming feedback. Before, it had to be slowly funneled through conservative press … [N]ow there is a megaphone,” Axios reported.

This attempt by the Democrat Party and the media to fracture the alliance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk was a dud.

It seems they haven’t yet learned any lessons from their disastrous election defeat.
