Secret Camera Caught Maricopa Election Workers Plugging Flash Drives Into Certified Equipment After Midnight

Maricopa County turned into Ground Zero for election fraud claims back in 2020.

Six years later, a hidden camera just caught workers doing the exact same thing in that same tabulation center, deep in the night.

What those flash drives were plugged into has county officials scrambling to explain themselves before Election Day.

Hidden Camera Footage Ignites New Maricopa Fraud Fears

A nonpublic security camera inside the Maricopa County ballot tabulation center captured something nobody was supposed to see.

The footage shows two employees inside the tabulation center deep into the night on October 7, flash drives in hand.

We the People USA Alliance, the election integrity group that first exposed irregularities in Maricopa back in 2020, posted the footage on X with one word: "BUSTED."

The video exploded past a million views in days.

Kari Lake, who lost two statewide races in Arizona and now serves as a senior adviser in the Trump administration, called it "shenanigans" and said only "God's intervention" led to its discovery.

President Trump had already called Maricopa "a very, very dishonest county" just days earlier, after more than 3,000 ballots were mailed out in error before early voting even began.

Two scandals in the same county in the same month is not a coincidence.

It's a pattern.

Trump Demands Answers After Second Ballot Scandal in One Month

Maricopa County's Board of Supervisors rushed out a statement claiming the employees were just "performing authorized and necessary work" on a terminal supposedly disconnected from the internet.

Shelby Busch, founder of We the People USA Alliance and an RNC representative, was not satisfied with that explanation.

Busch took her concerns straight to Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap, the Trump-aligned official who has spent his tenure fighting the county's own election bureaucracy.

Heap's office did something Maricopa's old guard clearly didn't want – it called in the FBI.

This isn't the first time Maricopa's election equipment has turned up compromised.

Back in 2024, a temp worker employed by Maricopa County elections was arrested for stealing an elections security device.

In March of this year, the FBI seized dozens of hard drives and servers tied to the original 2020 Cyber Ninjas audit – evidence the county fought for years to keep buried.

Every time Maricopa promises its systems are secure, something new turns up proving officials can't say that with a straight face.

Arizona's Own Investigators Have a Credibility Problem

Arizona's attorney general's office closed its review of the flash drive video within days, ruling there was nothing to see.

Busch wasn't buying it, and neither should you.

She went on Steve Bannon's War Room to lay out exactly what she'd found.

Bannon's response summed up what millions of Americans are thinking: "Can somebody get involved here?"

Busch says she has already gone over the state's head, straight to the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice.

The FBI isn't brushing this off the way Arizona's state investigators did.

"Election integrity is one of the top priorities of this FBI, and we continue to work around the clock to pursue criminal actors who seek to undermine our system and the rule of law," the bureau said.

A federal agency pledging vigilance is a very different posture than a state office that cleared the county in a matter of days.

Maricopa County has had six straight years to fix its credibility problem, and instead it keeps handing voters fresh reasons to distrust it.

Sharpie pens bleeding through ballots in 2020, tabulator machines misreading votes in 2022, and two separate equipment security scandals since then – that's not isolated incidents, that's a county that cannot keep its hands off the evidence, and it's exactly the kind of chain-of-custody record the Heritage Foundation's election integrity scorecard was built to track.

Trump isn't manufacturing a crisis in Maricopa County – he's reacting to a county that has earned every bit of suspicion aimed at it, and with the midterms two weeks out, Americans deserve officials who prove their equipment is secure instead of asking everyone to take their word for it.
