The CIA Knew China Stole Your Voter Data in 2020 and Hid It From Trump

The Biden White House watched China hack British voter rolls in 2024 and feigned outrage.

Now we know America's own intelligence community sat on the exact same secret – for six years.

And the man who tried to sound the alarm says the CIA fired him for it.

Intelligence Officer Blew the Whistle – Then Got Fired

Former National Intelligence Council officer Christopher Porter says the evidence is extensive.

By April 2020, U.S. intelligence had confirmed that Chinese officials had obtained voter registration data from multiple American states and were analyzing it ahead of the Trump-Biden election.

Porter tried to get that information to Trump.

The CIA blocked him.

"We knew by April 2020 that Chinese intelligence had voter registration data from multiple states and was analyzing it with an eye toward the 2020 election," Porter told Just the News. "But CIA blocked efforts to inform President Trump and later stopped many of these reports from being made available to Congress."

He kept pushing through the Biden years.

"During the Biden administration, when I raised concern about the legal requirement to share these and other reports with Congressional oversight, they changed my job to exclude me from elections and then fired me," he said.

Porter's account is now backed by a declassified April 2020 memo from the National Intelligence Council, titled "Cyber Operations Enabling Expansive Digital Authoritarianism," which states directly that Chinese intelligence officials analyzed voter registration data from multiple U.S. states to conduct public opinion analysis on the 2020 general election.

The Biden administration quietly declassified that memo in 2022 – two full years after it was written – and it has received almost no public attention since.

The FBI Had Even More – and Buried That Too

The CIA wasn't the only agency running interference.

Last June, FBI Director Kash Patel handed Congress a long-suppressed intelligence report from 2020 showing China had plans to mass-produce fake U.S. driver's licenses and flood the election with fraudulent mail-in ballots for Joe Biden.

The report was sent to U.S. intelligence agencies on August 24, 2020, then recalled on September 25 – the day after then-FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress that he had seen no widespread mail fraud.

Newly declassified FBI communications obtained by Fox News confirm what happened inside the bureau: an agent in the Albany field office put his objection in writing.

"Most concerning to me, is stating the reporting would contradict with Director Wray's testimony," the agent wrote on October 1, 2020.

The recall order came from Deputy Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Nikki Floris.

The investigation was killed to protect Wray's story.

Meanwhile, U.S. Customs and Border Protection had already seized 19,888 counterfeit U.S. driver's licenses at Chicago's O'Hare Airport in the first six months of 2020, with the majority shipped directly from China and Hong Kong.

Beijing Had Your Name, Address, and Social Security Number

Voter registration data doesn't record how anyone voted.

What it does contain is driver's license numbers, partial Social Security numbers, home addresses – enough for a foreign intelligence service to build targeted fake personas, or to generate mail-in ballot requests that match real registered voters by name and district.

The FBI understood both threats clearly in 2020.

What did Democrats do while all this was unfolding?

They blocked the investigation.

They buried the intel.

They fired the man who wouldn't drop it.

And this week, as the Senate takes up the SAVE America Act – Trump's top legislative priority, which would require proof of citizenship to vote – Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called it "despicable" and vowed Democrats would block it.

The same people who let China walk off with America's voter rolls are now fighting to make sure nobody has to prove they're a citizen to vote.

This Isn't a Theory – It's a Pattern

When China hacked Britain's voter rolls in 2021 and the UK government revealed it in March 2024, the world treated it as a scandal.

Roughly 40 million British voters had their names and home addresses in Beijing's hands.

America watched and expressed outrage – while hiding the fact that the same thing had happened here four years earlier.

Former DNI John Ratcliffe – now CIA director – had already written a dissenting report at the end of 2020 arguing that China was more deeply involved in trying to influence the election than U.S. spy agencies were willing to admit.

He was overruled.

Now Ratcliffe and DNI Tulsi Gabbard are working to declassify what's been hidden – the full scope of what China did with that voter data, who in the U.S. government knew, and when they knew it.

Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters, Trump's point man for the 2026 midterms, told John Solomon Reports he had never heard any of this.

"What's crazy is the fact that China has access to these voter rolls, but we don't," Gruters said.

Six years of silence.

Senate Democrats are still blocking the legislation that would secure the system China already proved it could reach into.
