The View’s co-hosts aren’t taking the reality of the 2024 election’s results too well.
They continue to live in a delusional bubble completely disconnected from reality.
And now The View’s Sunny Hostin pushed one verifiable lie about Donald Trump that she’s already living to regret.
Democrats continue their mourning
While some Democrats have attempted to learn from the results of the 2024 election, many of the most Trump-deranged Democrats, like The View’s Sunny Hostin, simply refuse to accept the facts.
Hostin is still convinced that the only reason President-Elect Donald Trump is returning to the White House is because of so-called “racism” and “sexism.”
Despite the fact that polls continuously indicated throughout the 2024 election cycle that kitchen table issues, like the economy, inflation, and illegal immigration, were the most important issues in the minds of voters, Hostin believes that’s simply a lie.
As far as she’s concerned, voters who claimed they were voting for Trump on the basis of such kitchen table issues were flat out lying because she believes the President-Elect somehow never discussed “the price of eggs.”
“Most people are saying, ‘Well this was a kitchen table issue, this was about the cost of eggs.’ Donald Trump never talked about the price of eggs,” Hostin raved.
Of course, that’s possibly the most false propaganda claim deranged Democrats like Hostin have pushed in the wake of Trump’s victory.
Trump repeatedly referenced the price of everyday grocery items, like eggs, at his rallies and on social media throughout the election cycle.
He also discussed the issue at length in many of the non-traditional media interviews he took part in.
Trump couldn’t have talked more about eggs
For example, during Trump’s discussion with financial expert Dave Ramsey, the President-Elect specifically noted that while working class Americans are “not concerned with a lot of things . . . they are concerned with $8 eggs, $5 gas, 7% interest rates and a house they can’t afford, with wages not going up as fast as house prices. This inflation thing’s a big deal.”
Even Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance made the price of eggs a central part of his pitch to Americans as he explained that Vice President Kamala Harris simply wanted to continue inflationary policies that made their trips to the grocery store much more expensive.
“Eggs, when Kamala Harris took office, were short of $1.50 a dozen,” Vance told the crowd at a campaign stop in rural Pennsylvania. “Now, a dozen eggs will cost you around $4 thanks to her inflationary policies,” Vance began.
“Looking at the prices here, things are way too expensive and they’re way too expensive because of Kamala Harris’ policies,” he added.
At another event, after Vance’s children came on stage, the Vice President-Elect used their love of eggs as a jumping off point to speak more about Kamala’s disastrous economic policies.
“Let’s talk about eggs,” Vance said. “Because these guys actually eat about 14 eggs every single morning.”
“Thanks to Kamala Harris’s inflationary policies, Pennsylvania actually has seen some of the worst grocery price increases of the entire nation, and again, it’s because she cast a deciding vote on the inflation explosion act,” he continued.
So while Hostin and other deranged Democrats may want to make themselves feel better by claiming that so-called “racism” and “sexism” are the only reason Kamala lost, the reality is that it was their refusal to address kitchen table issues the same way Trump and Vance did.
And if Democrats continue to keep their heads buried in the sand when it comes to the reality of why they lost, they will continue to do so long into the future.
