Viewers were red with rage after one Fox News star crossed a major line with President-elect Donald Trump

Fox News has some explaining to do to both its viewers and Donald Trump.

Donald Trump hasn’t been happy with what he’s been seeing on Fox News Channel.

Recently, one of the network’s big stars even picked a fight with Trump that he will live to regret.

And viewers were red with rage after one Fox News star crossed a major line with President-elect Donald Trump.

Fox News host promotes the Russia collusion hoax

Donald Trump has already won one defamation case against the left-wing media.

ABC agreed to pay a $16 million settlement to Donald Trump to end a defamation case after anchor George Stephanopoulos falsely stated a jury found Trump “liable for rape.”

Trump now has another lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize board for 2017 awards given to the New York Times and the Washington Post for their false reporting on the Russia collusion hoax.

But seemingly oblivious to this, Fox News Media Buzz host Howard Kurtz recently took the side of the left-wing media in the suits.

Kurtz baselessly claimed Trump filed lawsuits merely for the purpose of punishing the media, as the Pulitzer Board would deplete its financial resources defending itself from Trump’s lawsuit even if it ultimately prevailed.

“Trump has openly said, he doesn’t make any secret of it, if he loses these lawsuits, he’s still satisfied because it puts the journalists or media organization through an ordeal and forces them to hire expensive lawyers,” Kurtz began.

Former Utah Republican Congressman and Fox News contributor Jason Chaffetz disagreed, arguing Trump had legitimate bones to pick in his lawsuits.

“Yeah. But he’s hand-picked some cases [in which] I think he has some very valid points. The Pulitzer Prize to hand out awards for people who were perpetuating what was proven to be an outright lie . . .” Chaffetz began.

But Kurtz cut off Chaffetz and then actually tried to claim the media didn’t lie in the Russia collusion hoax.

“Wait, what’s the outright lie? Let me stop you there,” Kurtz interjected.

Chaffetz argued the media knew the whole idea that Trump conspired with Russia was bogus from the start, yet proceeded to take the country on a nearly three-year-long wild goose chase as a result.

“Well, on the Russia hoax and they knew over the course of time that those were wrong, then I think the big question is, did they know it, when did they know it, did they continue to do those types of things, and that will play itself out in the court,” Chaffetz replied.

“That’s the type of thing that I think he’s going to say, ‘I can demonstrate, I can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that these things are fundamentally wrong, and you knew it and you continued to perpetuate the lie,’” Chaffetz added.

Kurtz laughably claimed the Pulitzer board would argue that no specific detail of the story was wrong per se.

“The Pulitzer board has said there were no actual inaccuracies pointed out in the article submitted by two papers, the Washington Post and the New York Times,” Kurtz concluded.

But even Semafor’s Ben Smith – who really provided all the fodder for the collusion hoax by publishing the hoax Steele dossier when he ran Buzzfeed – seemed reflective in a column headlined “Trump relitigates Russia ‘collusion’: Can you sue a narrative?”

Smith wondered if Trump could sue if the media got the meta story wrong and pushed a storyline that ended up being a hoax, writing, “We have a formula that corrects errors of fact, no matter how minor — but no real mechanism for correction when we get the whole gist of the story wrong, as of course regularly happens when you’re a reporter on deadline with the first draft of inscrutable, too-soon-to-tell history.”

There is no question the mainstream media served as willing co-conspirators in the effort to frame Donald Trump as a Russian spy.

Trump’s now rightfully looking to the courts to impose accountability for this obvious falsehood.

But despite the facts, a Fox News host is now siding with the pro-Democrat media in this ongoing battle.

It almost certainly will not end well for Kurtz.
