Vivek Ramaswamy just announced one plan that left Democrats white as a ghost

A founding DOGE member, Ramaswamy may have taken a step back to help in other areas but he is still putting out must-implement plans to help save America.

President Donald Trump is implementing bold policies to right the ship in the United States.

But the President isn’t making these sweeping changes on his own – he has an entire team helping him.

And now Vivek Ramaswamy just announced one plan that left Democrats white as a ghost.

New solutions needed to fix broken education system

The National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) are the two largest teachers unions in the United States.

Together they’ve helped destroy America’s education system.

The NEA and AFT – behind so-called “leadership” from fat cat union bosses like Randi Weingarten – have lobbied to avert tax dollars outside of the classroom, protect the jobs of the worst educators, and fought against common-sense school choice policies.

Of course, they do all this while pouring huge sums of money into Democrat candidate coffers.

In recent years, the teachers unions have moved to push the radically woke agenda in the classroom.

Instead of fostering the minds of the next generation to do great things – students are being groomed to be the next generation of left-wing activists.

Fortunately, in one of the only silver linings of the COVID-19 restrictions, parents got a firsthand look at what their children are – and aren’t – learning in government-run schools.

Armed with information, concerned moms and dads took to school board meetings to voice their opinions.

For their efforts, the Biden administration labeled those understandably concerned parents, “domestic terrorists.”

But now Joe Biden and his team are out, Donald Trump and his are in, providing an ally to frustrated parents.

And one of the early members of President Trump’s “A-Team” unveiled a plan to save the American education system.

Vivek Ramaswamy pitches his plan to better serve students

Prior to announcing his run for Ohio Governor, Vivek Ramaswamy was busy saving hardworking Americans money alongside Elon Musk as one of the co-chairs of President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

While Ramaswamy has taken a step back with his bid to become Ohio’s next Governor, he hasn’t kept quiet on the suggestion front.

His most recent looks to add efficiency to education.

The former Republican Presidential candidate took to Twitter to unveil his seven-point plan to do exactly that.

And government-sector union bosses like Weingarten aren’t going to like what they read.

“Shut down the U.S. Dept of Education and return money to the states,” Ramaswamy’s tweet began. “Enact universal school choice. Merit-based pay for teachers. No cell phones in classrooms. Bring back the presidential fitness test. Civic education and testing.”

It’s noticeable that there is no mention of expanding homeschooling on Ramaswamy’s list.

However, that could be included in the universal school choice legislation, if the bill is written correctly.

Ramaswamy admitted that his plan would not fix everything – and that there’s not an overnight fix to a problem that’s been decades in the making.

“There’s no silver bullet,” Ramaswamy tweeted. “But this is a starting point.”

This isn’t a new fight for Ramaswamy.

He advocated for many of these same ideas while campaigning for President.

Millions of Americans agree, they were great ideas then and they’re great ideas now.
