Whoopi Goldberg is The View’s current top co-harpie in many people’s view.
Vitriol and not-so-thought-out, reactionary takes rule the day nearly each and every day on the show.
And Whoopi Goldberg came unglued over what this one Republican had to say about Donald Trump.
A RINO The View ladies thought they liked admitted he supports Trump
Whoopi Goldberg, host of leftist soapbox show that is called The View, just threw a massive temper tantrum on national TV because of what this one Republican said about Trump.
The Republican was none other than the Governor of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu.
Despite the New England Republican earning a reputation for being a prime example of a RINO, he has recently come out affirming his support for Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
Sununu has also supported previous initiatives that separate him from true conservatives, such as abortion-on-demand and cutting blank checks to continue funding the war in Ukraine.
Even though he holds these positions, he still publicly defends his decision to vote for Trump in November.
He expressed these assurances when ABC host George Stephanopoulos tried to corner the governor, attempting to force him to push for Donald Trump to drop out of the race should he be convicted in one of these political show trials.
Sununu held the line, however, explaining that he believed that the case being brought against Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was undoubtedly motivated by politics, and that the charges were completely bogus.
“Drop out after being the nominee? Of course not,” shot back Governor Sununu. “You know that. That’s not to be expected at all.”
“All of these cases, by the way, the average American, it’s all conflated, right? We watch the stuff, we watch the details. The average American sees it more as reality TV,” continued Sununu. “I’m not saying there’s not real issues to bear there. Of course there are. But there’s clearly politics to bear in some of these cases. That is undeniable.”
“The average American just thinks it’s more reality TV and prosecution of him at this point. He plays that victim card very, very well. His poll numbers only go up with this stuff,” concluded the New England Republican.
As one would assume, the ladies of The View went ballistic about these comments, taking turns joining host Whoopi Goldberg in slamming Sununu for being a “MAGA cultists” even though he clearly leans much more liberal than most Republicans, and even tried to help RINO Nikki Haley defeat Trump in the GOP primary.
“Why is he suddenly falling in line with MAGA?” cried Goldberg.
“Gov. Sununu is a friend. He’s entitled to his take,” responded Alyssa Farrah Griffin, a phony conservative on the show. She did explain that she was very “disappointed” in the Governor, however.
The rest of the co-hosts of the all-female cast didn’t hold back, though.
They attacked Governor Sununu, even going as far as accusing the liberal Republican as being a ‘fraud.’
“I don’t know why he did it because I actually met him here and I really have liked him,” co-host Sara Haines added, while agreeing with Griffin’s disappointment.
“First of all, it’s not 51% of the country,” Ana Navarro shouted. “People who support Trump like to talk about half the country. No. 30% of people identify of Americans identify as Republicans, 28% identify as Democrats.”
“The largest party out there is independent and unaffiliated, and Trump did not win 51% in the last election. That’s why he’s not President,” continued Navarro, also a phony Republican.
Sunny Hostin’s response was one of the more interesting opinions shared on the episode.
Your brain on The View
She indicated her belief that people who do not completely readjust themselves to comply with the Democrat Party agenda, they are apparently not anti-Trump enough and therefore, they are the enemy.
“I think people gave Sununu too much credit,” started Hostin. “If you remember, when he came on this show, I asked to him, you voted for Trump in 2016 and you even voted for him in 2020, someone as principled as you are, why would you vote for the antithesis, the very antithesis of what you believe in?”
“And you know what he said? ‘Well, he’s not going to be the nominee.’ I’m not surprised he did this. He is every bit of a politician and he should be ashamed of himself!” snapped Hostin.
What these propagandists don’t seem to understand is the fact that most Republicans can see right through, what are clearly, political show trials.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was merely taking a small question regarding paperwork, and manufactured it into a felony, despite the fact that his charges against Trump are completely invented and that he does not even have the authority to prosecute over.
The media refuses to acknowledge how these charges are a serious indictment against those who were put in place to respect and honor the rule of law, and that this behavior poses a very real-world threat to democracy.
The doubts over the system of justice in this country and the conduct of elections are so severe that even RINO politicians like Governor Chris Sununu cannot defend these affronts to the rule of law.
