Minnesota Democrats let con artists steal $250 million meant for hungry kids.
Dr. Oz says the same scam is already running wild inside Medicare and hospice care nationwide.
What Oz and the FBI found inside one New York building left federal agents stunned.
Dr. Oz and FBI Expose Medicaid Fraud Inside Queens Senior Daycares
Mehmet Oz did not send a press release this time. He showed up.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services administrator walked into Flushing, Queens, this week with the FBI and the NYPD behind him.
One building housed all three: a senior day care, a pharmacy and a medical practice, all running the same scheme together.
Oz had a name for it: a clubhouse for crooks.
More than 80 New York City day care providers got warning letters from CMS over billing that did not add up.
Investigators found wheelchair transportation charges for seniors who never left their chairs.
They found sign-in sheets with future dates already filled in, weeks before those days even happened.
They found seniors walking through the door who never signed in at all.
Oz says the scheme recruits vulnerable seniors, signs them up, and then bills Medicaid using their identification numbers over and over.
"Fraudsters and criminals don't give a s— about you. They want your money, and they will walk all over your health, sacrifice your life and betray society's trust to get your hard-earned money," Oz says in the documentary.
An FBI New York spokesperson confirmed agents were active across Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn as part of ongoing federal investigations.
This is not a one-city problem. It is a blueprint.
Feeding Our Future Fraud Becomes the Blueprint for National Medicare Fraud
Conservatives already know this movie. Minnesota's Feeding Our Future scandal wrote the script years ago.
Fraudsters stole roughly $250 million meant to feed hungry children, funneling cash into luxury cars and vacation homes while Tim Walz's state government looked the other way.
More than 50 people have been convicted so far, and new convictions are still landing.
Now Oz says that exact pattern – recruit people, fake the paperwork, bill the government – has metastasized into Medicare and hospice care from coast to coast.
In Los Angeles alone, roughly 2,000 hospice providers operate, a number Oz calls a glaring red flag for fraud.
Oz alleges Russian organized crime networks are running some of these hospice operations, falsely declaring patients terminally ill to cut off their real treatment and collect Medicare payouts instead.
Think about what that means. Real seniors get steered toward hospice care they do not need, cutting off treatment for conditions that were never actually terminal.
The money keeps flowing either way.
JD Vance's White House Task Force on Fraud already froze $1.4 billion from home health and hospice providers suspected of running these schemes.
A separate crackdown in California froze another $1.3 billion tied to hospice fraud in that state alone.
And this is not small-time theft. Federal prosecutors charged a ringleader behind a $3.7 billion Medicare equipment scheme out of Delray Beach, Florida.
That ringleader fled the country rather than face the charges.
He made it all the way to Turkey before the FBI tracked him down and brought him back to South Florida.
One scheme, one building full of fake billing, and that is the scale Oz is describing as normal nationwide.
Walz Ignored Fraud Warnings While Oz Targets Hospice Fraud
Walz had those warning signs sitting in plain sight for years and did nothing until reporters and federal prosecutors forced his hand.
Oz didn't wait for a scandal to blow up on the news.
He walked into Queens with the FBI and put his own name on the door.
Every dollar these crooks skim off Medicare and Medicaid is a dollar that should have gone to a grandmother who actually needs home health care, not a recruiter running fake sign-in sheets out of a storefront.
Foreign criminal networks aren't just hacking into these programs from the outside anymore.
Oz says they're enrolling in them, hiring staff and billing the government directly, and it took a Trump administration appointee to say so on camera.
Walz's Minnesota proved what happens when the people in charge decide fraud is somebody else's department.
Oz is proving what happens when it isn't.
