A Swing State Democrat Posted a Vulgar Late-Night Rant at Trump She Is Almost Certain to Pay For

Nevada Congresswoman Susie Lee posted an F-bomb-loaded message targeting President Trump just before 1 am the day before a Supreme Court argument.

She deleted it by morning – but screenshots don't disappear.

And her explanation made it worse.

Susie Lee's Deleted Post and the Birthright Citizenship Meltdown

Trump made history Wednesday morning by becoming the first sitting president to attend Supreme Court oral arguments, showing up personally to watch the birthright citizenship case he's fought since Day 1 of his second term.

Susie Lee watched that news and melted down.

"So f—ing f—ed up. I'll pray they f— him to his face," Lee posted on social media shortly before 1 a.m. Eastern.

"Sorry, I say f— a lot these days," she added.

By the time her Las Vegas constituents were pouring their morning coffee, the post was gone.

Her office pointed reporters to a statement on her personal account: "Clearly my language touched a nerve — my nerve was touched by the attacks on our Constitution and its separation of powers."

Translation: she's not sorry.

The problem for Lee isn't just the language.

It's the math.

Trump won Lee's NV-03 district in 2024 by a 50-to-49 margin.

Lee herself survived by only three points – 51 to 48 – in a seat the NRCC has had on its official target list since March 2025.

Voters in her own backyard voted for Trump.

And she spent Wednesday's midnight hour demanding the Supreme Court humiliate him.

The Nevada Democrat Who Calls Herself Bipartisan

Lee has spent years selling herself as a moderate – the kind of Nevada Democrat who can work across the aisle, keep her head down, and survive in a purple district.

Her own X account bills her as "America's #1 Most Bipartisan Member of Congress."

That brand took a serious hit Wednesday.

The NRCC wasted no time.

"Democrat Susie Lee has become Nevada's fool, more focused on vulgar outbursts than doing the job she was elected to do," spokesman Christian Martinez said. "Hitting delete doesn't clean up her mess, it just proves she knows how embarrassing it is."

Republican candidates already circling the district piled on.

Marty O'Donnell – the video game composer and GOP challenger backed by Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo – called it exactly what it was: "In case you're still wondering why Susie Lee votes against tax cuts, border security, and keeping men out of women's sports, she answered the question by drunk tweeting her inner thoughts last night. What an embarrassment to Nevada."

Former U.S. Ambassador Jeff Gunter went further: "Socialist Susie Lee is unfit for office."

A Pattern That Won't Stay Hidden

Susie Lee isn't some anonymous backbencher.

She's a four-term incumbent in one of the 13 Democrat-held districts that Trump won in 2024.

The NRCC has already run ads targeting her for voting against the One Big Beautiful Bill – a vote they say amounted to the largest tax hike since World War II.

Just days before her meltdown, Lee voted against legislation to fund DHS, ICE, Border Patrol, and TSA officers – the people keeping southern Nevada's airports and communities safe.

Now she's on record demanding the Supreme Court humiliate the sitting president on a case her own constituents sided with him on.

Every one of those votes and every one of those posts feeds the same story: a congresswoman whose private instincts are completely out of sync with the district she represents.

Trump's visit to the Supreme Court was historic – the first time a sitting president had ever attended oral arguments in American history.

He went because, as he told Fox News' Peter Doocy the day before, "I have listened to this argument for so long."

Susie Lee's response to that – at midnight, in expletives, later deleted – is the kind of unforced error that ends political careers in two-point districts.

Southern Nevadans now know exactly who they sent to Washington – and Marty O'Donnell and Jeff Gunter are making sure they don't forget it.
