Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis’ decision to hire her lover, Nathan Wade, as a Special Prosecutor for her witch hunt against former President Donald Trump resulted in major conflict of interest and perjury allegations that put Willis’ case — and her career — in jeopardy.
Willis paid Wade over $650,000 in taxpayer money for “legal fees” — far more than others hired for similar positions — despite the fact that he’d never tried a case above a misdemeanor and had no experience with the case law at hand.
Wade then used the taxpayer funds Willis funneled to him to provide her with kickbacks in the form of luxury vacations and other expenses.
And all along the way, both Willis and Wade’s testimony on the matter was repeatedly rebuffed by numerous former friends and associates, not to mention GPS and other data from their cell phones — all of which proved they committed perjury by claiming under oath that their relationship began after the Trump witch hunt began.
Needless to say, most assumed this would be a slam dunk case that would result in Willis at least being removed from her Trump witch hunt.
Fani Willis is over the Moon after a judge bailed her out with a massive huge favor
But of course, as always, the ruling class elites protect their own.
Judge Scott McAfee attempted to help her get off rather easily.
In a scathing rebuke, Judge McAfee admonished Willis for hiring Wade, creating what he called “an appearance of impropriety” — because everyone knows that when there is solid evidence of a conflict of interest and perjury that it’s just an “appearance of impropriety,” not actual impropriety.
And rather than following through with rightfully removing Willis from the case, McAfee opted to give the Democrat DA the choice of either removing herself — and by extent her entire office — or Wade from the case.
Essentially, the Judge is simply giving Willis the easy out of removing Wade from the case — which would likely result in him simply being reassigned to a different case, while still raking in untold sums of taxpayer dollars from his lover and boss — and pretending the fact that she committed perjury, and would likely still be engaging in corruption by moving Wade to a different case, just magically disappeared.
“The prosecution is encumbered by an appearance of impropriety,” McAfee wrote. “As the case moves forward, reasonable members of the public could easily be left to wonder whether the financial exchanges have continued resulting in some form of benefit to the District Attorney, or even whether the romantic relationship has resumed. As long as Wade remains on the case, this unnecessary perception will persist.”
Never mind the fact that it’s not just a “perception,” but the actual reality of the situation.
Judge McAfee even went so far as to claim that Willis had merely committed a “lapse in judgment” and acted “unprofessional.”
“This finding is by no means an indication that the Court condones this tremendous lapse in judgment or the unprofessional manner of the District Attorney’s testimony during the evidentiary hearing,” McAfee wrote. “Rather, it is the undersigned’s opinion that Georgia law does not permit the finding of an actual conflict for simply making bad choices — even repeatedly — and it is the trial court’s duty to confine itself to the relevant issues and applicable law properly brought before it.”
And as a cherry on top, McAfee even admitted that Willis and Wade were untruthful in their testimony — also known as committing perjury — calling it an “odor of mendacity.”
Despite outright admitting that they’d committed crimes though, Judge McAfee is allowing Willis to continue with the case.

But she’s part of the ruling class elite.
Put simply, this is just another example of the ruling class elites doing whatever they can to protect their own.
