Melat Kiros already stunned the country once by calling 9/11 inevitable.
Now the Colorado socialist has revealed the actual plan behind Democrats' mass immigration push.
She told a Denver crowd exactly who she wants running America instead.
Kiros Says Immigrants From The Global South Must Take Over Congress
Melat Kiros is the Democratic Socialists of America's newest star.
She just knocked off 15-term Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado's 1st Congressional District primary.
This is not some safely distant blue-state curiosity.
It's the same DSA machine now recruiting candidates in Michigan and Wisconsin, and your district could be next on the list.
At a Denver event called Wa'Ela Tigrai, Kiros told the crowd America is overdue for a "reckoning" with the entire global order.
She said the exploitative nature of American power on the world stage will only change if the right people take office.
"That means getting more immigrants into office," Kiros said.
She didn't stop there.
Kiros specifically demanded more officials with roots in the developing world, arguing that's where the real levers of American power sit.
She wasn't caught off guard by a hot mic.
Kiros said this on stage, on camera, to a room full of supporters who cheered for it.
The Same Playbook That Just Toppled New York Democrats
Kiros didn't build this movement alone.
She's backed by Justice Democrats, the same outfit that built Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley into national names by knocking off establishment Democrats one primary at a time.
And she's riding the exact wave that just swept New York City.
Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidates have now won 35 primaries this election cycle, including two stunning takedowns of sitting House Democrats in Mayor Zohran Mamdani's backyard.
Brad Lander buried two-term incumbent Dan Goldman.
Darializa Avila Chevalier – who will share a November ballot with Kiros as another Mamdani-aligned nominee – knocked out five-term Rep. Adriano Espaillat, the chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
Colorado was never supposed to be next.
DeGette had represented Denver for three decades before a first-time candidate, a lawyer fired from her own firm for publicly attacking it over Israel, ended her career in a single primary night.
Kiros Has A Pattern Of Excusing Political Violence
The Global South comments are not an isolated slip.
Weeks earlier, Kiros was asked point blank about the firebombing of an outdoor vigil for Israeli hostages in Boulder, an attack that killed 82-year-old Karen Diamond and injured over a dozen others.
Asked if the attack was antisemitic, Kiros refused to say yes.
"I don't know what was in the heart of the perpetrator," Kiros said.
An 82-year-old grandmother is dead, and Colorado's Democratic nominee for Congress couldn't bring herself to call the attack what it was.
She has also said American foreign policy made the September 11 attacks "inevitable," a comment the RNC blasted online with a single word: "SICK!"
Republican strategist Steve Guest put it bluntly, calling her rise "light-years worse than AOC beating 10-term incumbent Joe Crowley."
This Is Now The Democrat Brand Heading Into November
House Republicans' campaign arm chairman Richard Hudson isn't hiding how much he loves this fight.
"The Democrats are making this easy for us," Hudson said.
He's right.
Democrats spent a decade insisting the Squad was a fringe outlier, a few loud voices in an otherwise moderate party.
Kiros just proved that story was always a lie.
She is a heavy favorite to win in November, and no amount of money is going to stop her.
There is only the truth about what she believes, and Kiros keeps handing it to reporters herself.
That means the woman who wants to replace American leadership with immigrants from the Global South, and who couldn't call a deadly antisemitic firebombing what it was, is about to get a permanent microphone in the United States Congress.
Every Democrat on the ballot this fall now owns that.
Diana DeGette warned voters for months that Kiros was too extreme for Denver.
Denver said extreme was exactly what it wanted.
