Texas Majority PAC Operative Admits on Camera His Vote Scheme Was Shady

Democrats have spent years warning Americans that Republicans steal elections.

A hidden camera just caught one of their own operatives explaining exactly how Democrats actually buy votes.

What he admitted on tape is now triggering a federal investigation into his own party's tactics.

Texas Majority PAC Staffer Caught Admitting $25 Vote Scheme on Camera

Sky McAdams ran organizing for the Texas Majority PAC, the Democrat-aligned group pouring millions into Senate candidate James Talarico's race against Attorney General Ken Paxton.

An undercover reporter for Townhall caught him explaining a program that pays Texans $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class aimed at convincing them Republicans are to blame for the country's problems.

McAdams described the arrangement as "a roundabout way of paying people for their votes."

He didn't stop there.

McAdams said flat out that if he were a Republican watching this play out, he'd be furious – which is one Democrat operative's way of admitting the obvious.

Texas Majority PAC wasn't some fly-by-night operation, it was built from the ground up by three career Democrat campaign operatives.

The program even has a brand name, the Paid Relational Program, run through an outside vendor called Relentless using software called Rally.

Relational organizing by itself isn't illegal, campaigns have paid canvassers to knock doors and talk to neighbors for decades.

What makes this different is McAdams tying the $25 payment directly to steering how people vote, in his own words, on a camera he didn't know was rolling.

Texas Majority PAC had already paid Relentless $500,000 for the arrangement, according to a state campaign finance filing – enough to cover roughly 20,000 payments at $25 a head.

McAdams got fired within days.

Firing him doesn't undo the video, and it doesn't erase the math.

DOJ Investigation Targets Texas Majority PAC over Talarico Vote Buying Scheme

Texas Rep. Pat Fallon didn't wait around.

He fired off a letter to Attorney General Todd Blanche accusing the PAC and Relentless of running what he called "a voter bribery operation," demanding a federal investigation into both.

Two weeks later, sources confirmed to Fox News that the DOJ had opened that investigation.

Texas Majority PAC spokesperson Eddie Vale insists McAdams simply described the program wrong, calling it standard relational organizing that pays Texans for grassroots work, not for how they vote.

Maybe that's the story Democrats want to tell.

But Vale also confirmed the video is real and unaltered, which leaves Democrats arguing that their own employee lied about their own program – on camera, to a reporter he thought was on his side.

That's a confession with a denial stapled to the back of it.

The timing couldn't be worse for Talarico, who is locked in a toss up race against Paxton while Senate Republicans pour tens of millions of dollars into Texas to close the gap before November.

The Federal Vote Buying Law Democrats Used against Elon Musk

Federal law doesn't require prosecutors to prove anyone actually changed their vote for a payment to count as a crime.

Under 18 U.S.C. 597, offering money or anything of value tied to whether or how someone votes is the crime – intent is what matters, not whether the scheme worked.

That law exists because the people who wrote it understood something Democrats keep conveniently forgetting: you don't get to buy democracy wholesale and call it community organizing.

Democrats and their allied media spent weeks in 2024 insisting Elon Musk had committed a felony by paying registered voters in swing states through a sweepstakes tied to a petition.

Funny how that legal theory evaporates the second it's their own operative on camera describing the same basic conduct in plainer language.

Texas Majority PAC has raised nearly $10 million this cycle and already burned through $9 million of it trying to turn the reddest battleground state in the country blue.

A chunk of that money apparently went toward a program its own staffer couldn't keep straight in front of a reporter.

A federal referral doesn't move at the speed of a news cycle, but campaign money does, and Texas Majority PAC doesn't have five weeks to spare before Election Day.

Every dollar the PAC now spends explaining Relentless to federal investigators is a dollar it isn't spending on ads to save Talarico.

Relentless built the software, trained the organizers, and cashed the check, which means this investigation doesn't stop at McAdams' old desk.

If investigators start pulling vendor contracts and bank records, the next face on camera might not be a fired organizing manager – it might be whoever signed off on the check.

If the DOJ finds what Fallon thinks it will find, this stops being a staffing problem and becomes a federal crime problem – and Talarico inherited it the moment his allies decided buying votes was cheaper than earning them.
