For thirty years, Democrats have shielded the Clintons from every scandal, every investigation, every question they didn't want to answer.
That ends with the Clintons on the witness stand – and James Comer just made sure they knew it.
When House Oversight Chairman James Comer walked into that deposition room in Chappaqua and placed a photograph of Bill Clinton in a hot tub with an Epstein trafficking victim in front of Hillary Clinton, her response told America everything it needed to know.
Comer Grins on Hannity After Showing Hillary the One Photo She Refused to Explain
After seven months of stonewalling, subpoenas, and contempt threats, Hillary Clinton finally sat down with House investigators Thursday – and spent most of the day telling them to ask her husband.
James Comer walked out of that deposition with a smirk on his face, and Thursday night on Hannity, he explained exactly why.
There was one moment in that room that made everything worthwhile – and you're going to want to see the video when it drops.
Hillary Clinton Showed Zero Concern When Comer Showed Her the Epstein Hot Tub Photo Under Oath
Comer couldn't keep the smirk off his face when he told Sean Hannity what happened next.
"We showed her that picture," Comer said, "and she acted like she had no curiosity, wasn't concerned who was in the hot tub with him or any – she didn't know. She said – she really wasn't concerned."
The Justice Department released that photograph as part of the Epstein files – and federal law required DOJ to redact only the faces of victims and minors. That means the woman in that hot tub with Bill Clinton is either a trafficking victim, a minor, or both. Hillary Clinton sat across from James Comer under oath and told him she didn't care who it was.
This is the woman who spent her career as Secretary of State claiming to fight sex trafficking around the world.
Hillary Clinton Admitted Under Oath Bill Flew on Epstein's Plane 26 Times
The deposition produced bombshell after bombshell.
Hillary Clinton admitted under oath that Jeffrey Epstein visited the White House 17 times during the Clinton presidency. She confirmed that Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's private plane 26 times – but said she was never on the plane herself and had no knowledge of Epstein's crimes.
Comer told Hannity his committee confronted her with testimony from three separate witnesses who placed Bill Clinton on Epstein's island. Clinton denied it. "We read three emails from three different witnesses that said they saw Bill Clinton on Epstein island," Comer said. "So we had all the evidence and – Ms. Clinton under oath denied everything."
She also deflected question after question about the Clinton Global Initiative by telling the committee, "You have to ask my husband."
Bill Clinton sat for his own deposition Friday – a session Comer predicted would run even longer than Hillary's seven hours. The former president said in his opening statement he "saw nothing" and "did nothing wrong." He also called bringing his wife before the committee "simply not right."
Hillary Clinton Deposition Video Release: What Comer Says Comes Next
Hillary Clinton emerged from the seven-hour session and complained to reporters that the questioning was "very repetitive." She said she didn't know how many times she was forced to say she never met Jeffrey Epstein.
Her lawyers spent months fighting the subpoena. The Clintons initially refused to appear entirely, and the House Oversight Committee – on a bipartisan vote, with Democrats joining – advanced contempt proceedings against them. Only when a full House floor vote was imminent did the Clintons cave and agree to Comer's terms.
Comer said he plans to release the full video of Hillary Clinton's testimony as quickly as possible.
The political establishment spent two decades dismissing every question about the Clintons and Epstein. They called it a witch hunt and hid behind lawyers. Now there's video of Hillary Clinton sitting under oath, shrugging at a photograph of her husband in a hot tub with a woman whose face the federal government redacted to protect a trafficking victim's identity.
James Comer is smiling. The American people are about to see exactly why.
